This reduced the smell of my iron water really well, but after just two weeks the smell started to creep up already and I'm the only one who lives here. However, still a big difference!

My hair has always been the bane of my existence (wouldn't go to class in college if I was having a bad hair day...). I noticed recently that it has not been turning out well no matter what I did to it - not washing for a few days, hair masks, more expensive shampoo/conditioner, etc. Then, I went out of town and had AMAZING hair. And came back to where I live and had terrible hair. Then went out of town AGAIN and had amazing hair. And came back to terrible hair... and the cycle continued.That's when I realized that it was absolutely the water where I live. I'd heard we had hard water and kind of blew it off, but realized this absolutely had to be the reason. So before I pulled a Demi Moore and started washing my hair with bottled water, I decided to bite the bullet and buy this water filter.LET ME JUST SAY THAT MY HAIR IS AMAZING TODAY.IT WAS AMAZING YESTERDAY.IT WAS AMAZING THIS PAST WEEKEND.This water filter WORKS. Whatever harsh chemicals are in my water aren't in my hair or on my body anymore. I FINALLY HAVE GREAT HAIR (almost) EVERYDAY. And that's awesome, because I can't skip work like I used to skip class.As a side note, this has also helped clear up small patches of redness I've had on my skin for a while, so YAS.BUY THIS! It's cheap, easy to assemble, and honestly worth it even if you already have amazing hair and soft skin. At the very least, you know you're showering in brita-filter-level water.

I installed the filter on 11/3/18 and had to uninstall it on 11/26/18. The reason being that the water pressure was literally down to a trickle. When i first installed it, the shower head worked great. It filtered the water as promised and i even noticed that my hair stopped falling out in the shower. But as time went by the water pressure slowly dropped and at first i thought something was wrong with the plumbing. When i took the filter off, the pressure went back to normal. I know the filters will clog up after a while, i just didn't expect it to be so soon. Reviews say the replace the cartridge every 6mos. There are 4 adults that use the shower and even if that estimate was for 1 person, it still should have lasted at least a month to a month and a half. Which i would have been fine with. I don't know if I'm going to reinstall the filter yet. I gave it 2 stars for actually working great but not lasting long.

So far so good! We have really hard water that leaves us with dry, cracked skin and scaley, itchy scalps. After trying several shampoos and body soaps, we knew it had to be the water. My bf and I have used this filter a couple times and we have already noticed a difference in our skin. We do not feel as ridiculously dry as we did before. My scalp doesn’t feel super itchy and my hair feels softer and doesn’t look so dull! Super easy to install! Very happy with this!

This Natural Rapids Shower Filter is worth every penny. I definitely love this softness thats' been added to my shower and hair washing regimen. I can feel the difference on my skin and my head thanks me.

I took my first shower with the filter and the chlorine smell coming from the water is gone. Plumber tape was included and it was really easy to install. My fiancé gets hair treatments and told me that her hair felt much softer. Happy wife happy life! The filter may lower your shower head a little but I'm 6'1 and it's perfectly fine. Overall it's a high quality product and I'm happy with my purchase.

The showerhead filter works really well, the water feels softer. I initially got it because my roommates hair and my own were getting dried out by our shower (old building) and we attached got this to see if it solves the issue. We've only used it a few times but it does seem to be helping! The installation was really easy (take off showerhead, twist on and then twist the showerhead back onto it).The filter must use charcoal because the first time you turn it on theres a lot of black residue in the water. The instructions it came with said to run hot water for about 5 minutes to clear it out, we let it run for ten and then when I took a shower a couple hours later had to let it run a couple more minutes before the water was clear, that happened the first couple times we used it, now (a week later) it doesn't have any residue.

Edit: I loved this product, but I needed to change the filter after just a couple of weeks. I haven't used near 10,000 gallons in my house house, let alone my shower. I think I'll keep using it because it works so well, but I'm pretty disappointed.Ever since I moved the to city, the water was destroying my fine, long, curly hair. I used to be silky soft, but now it was dry and tangled on the ends and always looked gunky. It sometimes took me 20 minutes to brush! I was getting ready to cut it all off. After I installed this shower head extension, everything was better in one or two washes. People were asking me if I got a hair cut or using a different product. Buy it! This product is amazing. Easy to install, no issues so far (I've been using it for a few weeks now). Saved my hair!

What can I say about this product? I love it!!!! My hair is so soft and smooth, I didn't have to use a lot of conditioner on it. I usually have to use condition, keratin products to get rid of the frizz, and it still looked awful. What a difference having a shower filter makes. My skin feels so soft, soap lathers great and washing my face, I am completely sold on this that will keep on buying filters for this. Thank you for a great product.

I have a newborn and was concerned about a rash on my baby's skin after washing her with regular tap water. I was told tap water contains chlorine (among other chemicals) that can have an effect on sensitive skin so I immediately went and bought this product. I just bathed her for the first time with the filter and didn't see any rashes afterwards!In addition to my baby, this filter helps me too :) I routinely get my hair colored and keratin treatments. When looking up the benefits of a shower filter I learned it can help make the keratin last longer and prevent discoloration of highlights. My hair definitely felt softer after my first wash. I'm excited about being able to save some money by waiting a little longer between treatments!

We have hard well water and it has not stopped rust stains on the tub and walls. The shower head itself is also showing rust. I tried it a few weeks, then replaced the filter and still didn't achieve good results. I don't notice much difference using it or going without it. Update to review - The seller has offered me a refund. I found the customer service this company offers to be excellent so don't be afraid to try the product to see if it works for you.

First off...great price, very easy to install and it comes with an extra filter. BUT I’m not sure that it’s working. I bought this to bring to Korea because the water here is really hard. When I installed it, it says to run hot water for a few minutes because some black residue would be coming out but mine didn’t do that. I don’t know if that’s good or bad. I haven’t really noticed any difference in my hair or skin either. It’s still really dry. Maybe the water here is just “different”. So overall I’m just not sure if it actually works.

This product is great. My wife read about shower filters online and suggested we try one out to ensure that our children are exposed to the cleanest water possible. Natural Rapids shower filter seemed to have exactly what we were looking for, at an affordable price. We are extremely pleased with our purchase. The filter was easy to set up, did not change the water pressure on our shower head, and our skin actually feels softer than before. My wife also mentioned that her hair felt less dry after a few days of use. Additionally, the product itself is sleek and compliments the overall aesthetic of our shower head. Would definitely recommend this product.

I love it so far! Definitely have noticed softer skin & better soap lather since using this shower filter. Also seems to have taken away most/ if not all of chemical smell from the nasty San Diego water I’d been showing in. The only suggestion I would have for the company is to make one available in metal. I’d be willing to spend a little more for a more sturdy/ higher quality feel. I guess it’s not bad for being plastic, but I would prefer a stainless steel one.

For years I have been buying all kinds of very expensive shampoos (One cost 90 dollars) due to sticky residue and a dandruff like substance on my scalp. When I went to visit family back East I noticed the water rinsed the shampoo out completely and left my hair soft. I bought this and am so very happy! We are buying one for each shower in my home now.
