This item was packed very well and arrived without any damage. Had a bit of a problem assembling it myself but another pair of hands would have fixed that. Used it this this afternoon and WOW... greatest thing since sliced bread ! It put down a perfect layer of Peat Moss on the new lawn I seeded and saved me untold hours of shoveling and smoothing/raking by hand. Well worth the money !!

This product has been a real lifesaver for me. It saves so much time and effort when working in the yard. I’ve used it to spread peat moss, dirt, sand, and compost, and each time the material went down evenly and smoothly. It really makes the job easier and more efficient. That said, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. There’s a small gap when spreading, and over time one of the gate hinges bent slightly, which makes removing and attaching it a little tricky. Still, the overall benefits far outweigh these minor issues. The time it saves and the even spread it delivers make it a tool I’d definitely recommend.

So far it's held up well. I used it in my front. And back yard. I used it to evenly spread soil and then after seed, my peat moss. I do not have a large yard. I've rented a peat moss spreader from HD. I got tired of rickety old cumbersome pieces of equipment. The last time I got one from HD the buckle would not stay closed and made for a very frustrating session. It didn't help that it's located in the center. It was abused rental equipment in need of replacement. 🙄 On THIS piece the buckles are on the side. This product is much smaller in size than the HD rental. Which has it's pros and cons. 1.) pro-very manageable and fits in all the corners of my small property. 2.) cons- it doesn't hold a lot so you do have to refill it more often. At the end of the day my lot is small and so it's not a big deal to refill more often. If I can get 4 uses out of, its paid for itself. I'm not about disposable products so I do purchase with intention. I hope it lasts. I also have to find place to store it. But for me it was worth the purchase and it was about $75 bucks. It's NOT meant for heavy duty use. The welds seem sturdy for my light use but if you're doing anything bigger than 1/4 acre it's probably not a good fit. If you have a larger property then you will benefit from a larger more commercial unit like what HD rents. But for the small yard people who don't want to waste space on large commercial equipment or having to rent something this is for you. If you still want to evenly spread some soil or peat moss this is a very nice bonus yard/garden gadget to have.

This unit worked well for what I bought it for. I used it to place a bed of mulch on 12000sq feet of top soil when planting a new lawn. It was a lot or work using this unit when it was full of mulch and having to push it as much as we did but it only took a couple of days and he had our lawn planted and ready to go. I am giving it 5 stars only because I am very happy with how this thing worked for us. It is also built very well. We plan on using it every year now to place mulch on our large garden in the spring.

Assembly parts were packed in Step-1, Step-2, Step-3, etc. Which made it very easy. Everything fit well together. Upon completion I loaded it with Peat Moss and it did a fantastic job of laying an even layer over my grass seed and filling it the area’s most damaged by this summer’s drought. Watering everything in a can’t wait to see the results. Most likely will be something I do every spring or fall and am anxious to try compost as well. Oh, and I love the side latches; very easy to use and very sturdy.

Works great for spreading compost when overseeding a lawn. It tends to empty out fairly quickly depending on the material you're using. I also used it to separate out finer material from bigger rocks for a backyard water feature. It did exactly as I needed for that. As an aside I have generally found Vevor products to be sturdy and well made.

I’m not sure why most people give this and other rollers a bad review except for issues with the gate mechanism. On this unit, it’s not a problem. I appreciate that they’re on the sides and not in the middle. They’re also extremely secure. The only issue, if you can call it one, is taking the time to ensure the gate is in the proper position prior to attempting to close it. If you look at my included photos, I’ve added one showing the best way to load material. The second shows the coverage. For coverage, if you’re expecting a 2” layer, as some peat moss bags suggest, that’s not going to happen. This is meant for coverage up to about a 1/4” to maybe a bit more if you make multiple passes. If I were to knock on anything it would be the difficulty of removing oversized debris to include sticks. In the bags I purchased, there would be a couple handfuls per bag. I lifted this onto my trashcan and opened the door to shake it out. It’s not exactly easy to handle. I suppose you could detach the push/pull handle each time but I won’t be doing this. Overall, for planting new grass seed and patching, the 1/4” layer is doing just fine. The assembly was easy and the unit appears to be rather solid.

Premier produit VEVOR et je suis agréablement surpris. C'est très bien construit et solide. La peinture est belle et dure. J'ai roulé 5 verges de terre et ça fonctionne à la merveille. Je pourrais pas faire autant et aussi bien sans cette épandeur. Pour le prix ça donner un résultat qui en vaut la peine. Quand j'ai terminé la saison, j'ai retirer la poignée et remis l'épandeur dans la boite tout comme il avait été reçu et j'ai mis dans la remise pour l'hiver.

Tut was es soll die Qualität ist gut und stabil wie lange es hält kann ich nicht sagen aber denke mehrere Anwendungen wird es locker überstehen

je ne l'ai pas encore assemblé . Ce que je peux dire en attendant , c'est que l'emballage est extrêmement soigné et que les matériaux ont l'air de qualité .
