As you can see, the tool rotates 180 degrees to either give you the 110 punch or the cutting mechanism for 110.When the cutting mechanism is not being used, it's point directly toward your hand. The tool does not effectively lock the 180 flipped end in place. Very easy to have the tool slip and have the cutting mechanism go into your hand.MAJOR FLAW despite an otherwise nice tool. Use at your own risk. I returned mine. The 12 ports I set up on a patch panel (96 total punches, 8 wires times 12 Ethernet ports), the tool slipped at least 5-6 times - EVEN AFTER I was being as careful as possible because of the recognized risk.By using this product, I feel like one is inevitably going to end up injured.

Not much to say. It's a special use tool and does what it was designed to do. Well made.

I bought this to speed up my patch panel installs, within 6 punches the blade was destroyed, like it was made of the softest metal on the planet, decided to give them a chance, maybe I just got a bad one. Threw it in the tool bag for about 6 months, finally bought a new blade, same issue, that's it for me, straight to the trash.

Great little punch down tool.
