These lights work great to either add light to dimly lit areas or to add a pop of color behind or around something. I used them to light up a deep cabinet shelf that it can be hard to see in and then I put some around the back of my tv to have it illuminate a color behind it. It looks great and so far they are all working well.

These things are really neat. Description is accurate, though I thought the included images made the lights look bigger. You can have these on a timer, have each a different color, or the same color. Even come with extra adhesive strips in case you want to change placement. Really cool item for price. My son loves that these can give that led light look because I won’t let him mess up the wall paint with the long light strips- gonna order some for his room next

These lights worked, but they are really, really cheaply made. The battery compartments are too long, and the batteries simply fell out at first. I had to pull on the springs and deform them to get the batteries to make enough contact for the lights to turn on. The remote has an effective range of about 3 feet. They do have good illumination and lit up the pumpkins nicely once I got them going. Don't know yet about battery life.

So I ordered 5 sets of these last year. Not all at the same time. The first 4 sets I got all work with the same remote, then the last set doesn’t. I asked about this before and was told this issue was fixed. I just ordered a 3 pack and it has the same issue. The remote with the 3 pack works with that 5th set, but not the original 4 sets I got. I used that 5th set in a different location so it wouldn’t matter, but I would love the new set I need to work with the other 4 sets of lights I purchased originally. Love the lights just not this remote compatibility issue.

Our kids had smaller LED lights that they recently broke, as they've had it for years and wanted to replace it with something more modern. Installing 3 AA batteries and putting the cover back on is easy enough. We installed one in the closet also that doesn't have a dedicated light, but also it's used very sporadically and this worked out. The kids use the remote while we push it to activate it. Mainly with white lights, but I see them use the blue and the green. As simple as pressing the button to activate and the lights cycle to on/off.
