TaylorMade Anchorshade III 6' x 6', White

This is our 2nd Anchor Shade purchase. Our first one lasted for 6 years & then it was just the straps that dry rotted. We would HIGHLY recommend this for your boat for extra shade. It's fantastic!!!

This is perfect for some shade when you don't want to add a Bimini to your boat. NO you do not use it when Under Way as some reviews gave it low ratings for that reason. We love it, it's perfect.

I had high hopes for this umbrella, and I do not regret purchasing it. I do find this umbrella somewhat clumsy to handle, the center pole gets in the way and after struggling a bit setting it up it was just okay.Before heading out on a boat try it out first to determine the best location/setup, so you are not, like me, struggling out there on a breezy lake.

I bought this taylor made umbrella to replace the exact same model I bought about 3 years ago, expecting it to be the same product. Unfortunately the product left a lot to desire and was disappointment since the overall quality is not the same anymore. Starting with the bag, the fabric has been replaced by a very very very cheap fabric that already teared during the 2nd use. I've now used it for a 3rd time and it is about to end up in the trash. Seriously, I should have kept the old bag since it was a tougher material, and since it was the umbrella that broke the first time around. Straps: the quality of the 4 straps is not the same anymore since they also changed the material. it is a very cheap strap that I am almost certain it will not last as long as the previous ones I had. I should have kept them as well... Now to the umbrella itself: The fabric appears to be the same material as the old one (I have the white color fabric). The metal tubing appears to be the same, and they added a small "stop pin" at the top to prevent the umbrella from opening too much and falling apart, which was an issue before. This was not a big deal for cautious people like me. The plastic components looks to be the same as in the old model, but with so many components being replaced by cheap products I am skeptical about them. We'll see how much it will last since it is heavily used in south florida. The old one endured many boat rides (never while boat was moving), and beach use. This one I highly doubt it will last until next summer. Next time this one breaks I am buying another brand. 1 start for not caring about long time customers (yes, I have other taylormade products). truly sad with this purchase. thanks for reading

The umbrella shade works beautifully over our 23’ 1985 Cobalt Condessa. It would have been better if about 6” wider all around… but so nice yo have the shade it provides and it’s easy to move and readjust as the sun moves.

It’s easy to put up! We get alot of compliments on it. Our baja needed the shade! The bag that holds it has ripped a bit..but that’s not a big deal at all. Definitely would buy one again if I needed to!

Look, it works, but, we bought one in 2000 for a Baja Hammer and it was much heavier duty then this.The tightener knob on this new one doesn't seem like it will last , tighten gingerly.Taylor used to make good stuff, today,it's hit and miss. The carry bag is a little too tight and you really have to work the umbrella back in.Yes, it serves its' purpose, but personally I would have payed more for a better product.

This is an awesome addition to our yacht...non permanant easy to put up and does not take away from the looks of our craft.

So far so good! Great productWill not replace a real Bimini top but when anchor at the beach it provide shade in the boatYou can't be underway with this umbrella open!

It’s. Ok for money. Strictly for anchored shade. Would have returned but got busy and missed return window. Only test fit never really used

Storage bag ripped the first day. After about 5 uses the clamp no longer works. Pretty low quality umbrella, especially for the cost. I would not purchase it again and would send it back if I could.
