PAL 2000 KNIVES DAM-8703 Handmade Damascus Steel Billet Bar Twist Blank Blade Pattern 12" x 2" x 5mm

I’m really impressed with these billets, there are some minor inclusions here and there but nothing so far that has ruined a blade, to be honest I expected the quality to be a lot worse but for the price of their billets nothing competes, you cannot find Damascus billets this cheap anywhere else especially American made... besides all that the patterns look great, they’re a huge time saver, and true to what they say they are.(I bought the raindrop and the ladder pattern) just make sure if you try to forge weld these make triple sure you grind that etch off more than completely

Great pattern, had one minor defect and a little bent but I worked it out.

Making a western style Bowie with it. No inclusions so far, it was annealed nicely! Will post pictures of finished Blade.

This is junk steel. Voids and cracks all in the Damascus lamination. I bought two and it's the sorriest Damascus I ever saw. I ended up with two knives I'm ashamed to even give away. Definitely not worth anywhere near the price. Beware!

crack formed along a fault line in the Damascus. Metal was super hard, upon shaping the blade it split vertically, blades probably toast but I will see if it can be salvaged and add photos in the morning. Blade was salvageable and didn't lose much mass.

Came uniform thickness, was difficult to cut so I know the hardness is there, no delaminations or inclusions tempered on point over all very nice piece very happy sold fast

I loved everything about this blade.and have been telling all my friends about this seller.

A bit thicker than I expected but looks awesome. Looking forward to working this into a functional blade
