Harbour Housewares Clothing/Suitcase Zipper Fixers - Pack of 16

Absolutely brilliant product and a must for every household emergency kit. I've already saved 2 pairs of trousers and a rucksack from the tailors/bin using this product.If you keep the metal pins level when putting them into the plastic case they are very easy to use and just clip into place (with a good push), although some people may feel the need to use a set of pliers to get that final click into place.Please remember:1. As I forgot, you get two sizes (8 of each) small and large. The small ones are great for trousers. I unfortunately put a large set on 1 pair of trousers and although it works great, its a little bulky. They do not like to come undone when they have clipped into place and I think if you tried to remove one you would break it, so you need to get the size correct first time round.2. If your zip has broken i.e. the hole in the zip has broken, these will not fix it, they are designed to replace a broken pull handle on the zip.

These are good, sturdy zip puller's but came with no instructions. On the rear of the puller is a very small insert. The insert pops out when the u ring is pushed into it and can be easily lost. My tip is to gently prise it out, fit the u bar in then fit the insert, pinching it closed. This makes it nice and secure. The pullers are nice and chunky, easy to get hold of and use.Do yourself a favour and maybe have a small pair of pliers handy.

These replacement zipper pulls work very well, are easy to attach and excellent value for money! I was a bit dubious when they arrived, thinking they didn't look very attractive, but I was totally converted on using two of them to repair a coat and also a trouser zip. They look much better once attached and function brilliantly - very much better than the bits of cord we'd been using up till then. Happy husband and daughter!!

These are perfect for the job once you've been able to attach them!they are so hard to push together that the second one I tried broke.Harbour Housewares were extremely helpful and offered to replace them but then,finding they were out of stock,they refunded in full.

I've only used one so far, but I did find it difficult to insert the metal part into the plastic part and it seemed wonky. I didn't think it would be difficult but I fiddled about with it and hope it stays in. I would have liked to be sure that it went in properly, but I'm not certain. So far it has remained in, but I haven't worn it since I put one on, so can't really say that it has worked properly.OK, I've tried, I give up. I've tried to thread it, I've tried pushing it in, but nothing seems to work, maybe it's because I'm a 69 year old woman with arthritis in my wrists and thumb, but there's no way I seem to be able to get it in and stay there. I thought it would just click in when I ordered them. Guess not though, so absolutely disappointed. Unless you're Mr Universe, forget it. They get one star for them arriving, that's all.

I bought these replacement zips to replace the garish orange Amazon branded zips as found on their 'Basics' camera bag. This has made the bag look far smarter and now looks like any other rucksack.The zips are made to a high quality but require A LOT of force to clip in, I had to brace the metal clip end against a solid table an use my body weight to clip it in fully. This however is in the zip's benefit as it guarantees a very strong zip which isn't likely to break at all.The two different sizes of pull are very useful for smaller zips (I used them for internal pockets to reduce bulk). Overall this is a fantastic product and I would recommend to anyone wanting to replace a zipper pull.

These are great! Bought them as I needed some zippers with large enough holes in them to put a padlock through. You get a good amount for the price. They are hard to clip in place during the last step, but a pair of pliers fixes that problem just fine. You need to apply a lot of pressure to get that lock clip to stay put. Once it's in though it's very secure. They don't come with instructions but another reviewer here posted step by step images in their review so I went off them.

These are excellent little things. My son's guitar bag snapped 2 original (Stagg) zip pulls in days making the zips really hard to open/close. These zipper pulls come in 2 pieces, so you insert the metal part through the bit that actually draws the zip together (assuming this part still works) and then put the plastic handle onto the metal spikes to permanently secure. The only downside is that it is quite tricky to push the plastic handle evenly down onto the spikes as the metal is not that robust, especially when it obviously has to be attached to the zip and bag/case whilst you are doing it. Just a bit fiddly, but if you take care and try to find a hard even surface to push down on then you can get an excellent result - and these are much better/smarter than the original Stagg pulls!

Des tirettes de remplacements pour fermetures éclairs : tout simple, mais tellement pratique.Ce sont des tirettes assez grosse et pas forcement super esthetiques, mais elle font exactement ce qu'on leur demande : réparer une fermeture éclair dont la tirette a cassée. (sur un manteau des enfants, un blouson ou des sacoches de vélo, c'est parfait !)Elle semblent plutôt solides et la mise en place est assez simple : on retire la petite pièce de blocage en plastique au dos, on enfonce le U en place après l'avoir passé dans la fermeture éclair (et en faisant attention à ne pas tordre le U dans l'opération) et on replace la pièce de blocage.Je recommande.

Somehow Delta managed to rip 3 zipper pulls off my Samsonite luggage on a trip to Hawaii. This luggage has traveled with me all over the US and abroad with never a problem...until this trip. The original pulls were ripped out. The zipper part is not a solid round hole but instead is a bent over decorative tab. I closed the gap in each with pliers then attached these replacement pulls. They worked like a charm! If they come apart, you haven't fully seated the the wire into the pull. You may need to use pliers to make sure they snap in place. They look good and work great.

Der kleine Clip auf der Rückseite muss zuerst vorsichtig geöffnet werden, zum wieder verschließen ist eine Flachzange sinnvoll. Dass sie wieder aufgehen, wie teilweise berichtet, kann eigentlich nicht sein (Bedienungsfehler ?). Nur der Metallbügel ist etwas dick. Bei meinen handelsüblichen Textilreißverschlüssen hat er ganz knapp durchgepasst. Wenn die Öse etwas kleiner ist, kann sein, dass sie nicht verwendbar sind.
