An interest in programming and SQL has grown among my children, and my ex-husband even has a passing familiarity with the language. I figured I might as well pick up some knowledge as well. Databases are defined and introduced along with their purposes, functions, and types. Fundamentals of programming are explored. And the author goes into greater depth on how to practically apply the knowledge essential for database management, data mining, and other related topics. The beauty is that it is five books in one, so the work is extremely comprehensive. Although it might take some time to read it cover to cover, this book will give you a solid grounding. If you are just starting and consider SQL or Python Programming to be pertinent to a professional path, I highly recommend this resource. This book seems good, however it doesn't explain how to install python or sql, for an absolute beginner that is important, of course there are tutorials on YouTube, but it could be better to find out everything needed in the book

For a book where PYTHON if front and center on the cover, only 40% of the material is about Python (I measured it) and the book lacks coherence and organization, I've noted several mistakes or inaccuracies in the first couple chapters alone. I suspect this is more LLM written slop rather than actual helpful learning material.

This could of been a 5 star review, but only a 3 because it came damaged. An for a brand new hard cover, that's very bad. That's why it dropped 2 stars. As for why it could be 4 star's is because the paper inside feels like it wouldn't rip as easily... which is good thing, because it means it could last a very long time... without damaging the book. 3 stars though, because of the first reason I said the start.🙄😡😒
