HIKS Tree Swing Conversion / Extension Rope, Fully Adjustable Ideal For Hanging a Swing From a Tree Branch - Pack Of 2

The HIKS adjustable rope is a very good replacement rope for a swing. Whilst it is probably made for a tree swing it can be used just as well on a frame. The original rope on my child's "saucer" swing had become frayed and I purchased the HIKS adjustable rope as an additional safety rope, just in case the original rope would break during swinging. The rope was easy to attach to the saucer part of the swing and was easy to adjust to the right length so that it was just nicely taut. One end of the rope has a steel ring which fits neatly into the carabiner spring snap hook already in place at the top of the swing frame. It makes for a smooth swinging motion for the saucer and gives extra reassurance that your child is swinging safely.

We used this set to hang a hammock, and it is ideal for that job. The ropes are strong, and can be adjusted easily to any length, and the snap connectors at the ends are very strong and easy to use - though you need strong fingers to release them.I have complete confidence in the strength of this kit, which is important when used with swings and hammocks, of course.The ropes have a rather pink colour, just in case that's not what you want.

Bought these to make a tree swing in our garden. Easy to use and really strong. Had for a few months and looks and feel as good as new.

Did the job

Excellent service & looks a fairly well made product. Low rating as it is unsuitable for my hanging canvas chair. You cannot use the metal hanger as the cotton hanging loop on the chair is far too big. Keeping the product anyway as useful and will try to adapt if safe to do so.

First day usage on a swing for my kids and already worn. Won't take long till completely useless.

Used it for hanging a hammock swing from the branch of a tree, and it worked a treat.

I have bought two sets of rope from HKS and both are performing as expected. The first set supports a large circular swing suspended from a tree branch and the kids love this swing. A second set supports a swing chair. Both sets perform their function without a problem.
