This Torch arrived well packaged in a plastic carry case.The case contained 1x Torch, 1x 18650 3.7v Battery, 1x 3x AAA Battery Convertor (AAA Batteries Not Included) 1x 3 Pin UK Power Supply, 1x 18650 Battery Charging Unit.This torch came very well presented in a good quality plastic storage case. This torch has been manufactured to a very high standard. The main body is made from an Aluminium alloy and has a hatched pattern milled into the end to provide grip grip. The Bulb end of the torch can slide forwards and backwards, changing the focus of your beam. It goes from a very strong focused beam that centralises the light, to a very diffused array that provides a large circle of light. This is a very very bright torch. There are five modes of illumination, all cycled via the power button on the base. It cycles through, Bright, medium, dim, flash and SOS (It flashes the standard Morse code signal). One thing I noticed is that you can quickly cycle through all of these settings by not fully depressing the power button.The torch can take either standard AAA batteries using the provided adapter, or it can be used with the supplied 18650 single battery. Either battery configuration will provide many hours of light. The torch also has a carrying strap included. The charger supplied will recharge the 18650 battery in a couple of hours.This is a well made torch and should last for years under normal usage. There’s no bulb to replace just a super bright Cree LED. The storage box makes it very easy to transport everything if your out on a camping trip.Every house should have a torch of this sort of quality in case of an emergency, there’s no bulb to break and the batteries last a lot longer than the they would with an old incandescent bulb. The whole unit is incredibly rugged and well designed. It really is an impressive torch.

This is a small to medium size torch that fits comfortably in the palm of your hand. It should easily fit into a pocket when not in use. The handle has an easy-grip base which should be useful in wet conditions. The body is made from an aluminium alloy which means that it is very robust and solid, in fact it is virtually unbreakable. It is also reasonably waterproof as the on/off button is covered with a rubberised cover and there is an o-ring to seal the screw-on battery lid.The torch can be operated by 3 x AAA batteries which fit in a cartridge which slots into the handle. These batteries are not supplied. However, it does come with a re-chargeable 18650 battery and this slips inside a plastic sleeve to stop it from moving about in the torch. A battery charger is provided which is just for charging this battery.The best feature of this torch is the LED bulb which is really bright! In fact, it produces a powerful beam of light which is virtually impossible to attain with a traditional bulb. It's so bright that it is disorientating if shone in your eyes, and the beam resembles a light-sabre in the dark! The beam can be adjusted to make a wide beam for improving light over a short distance. LED bulbs also use less power and last for ages, and I would never buy a torch without an LED bulb in future.The beam can be adjusted by sliding the front lens forward, and the light has several modes including a flashing beam which could be useful for alerting other people - if your car broke down for instance. The modes are very bright, bright, low, strobe and SOS so it s versatile.The wrist strap is a bonus feature which could be handy in certain circumstances, or for hanging it on a hook for safe keeping.A plastic storage box is provided which will keep the charger, battery holder and the torch together.It was disappointing there were no instructions, but torches are very straightforward to use and this is pretty standard. The performance of this torch is outstanding, so I highly commend it.So overall this is a great torch for general purposes

The rechargeable battery does not work, shame because it is not a bad torch. No instructions and the plastic box that it came in looks like someone has been using it as a football, as it's covered in scrapes. With hindsight I would not have bought this product.
