Great mousepad that I would recommend, but not perfect.
This mouse looks and feels solid and sturdy. I am currently a Logitech MX Master Mouse, and it glides over smoothly without any pull and no noticeable resistance. The bottom of the pad is not as "sticky" and has a tendency to slide if you pull it manually. No sliding when using the mouse however so it does not affect the performance. Just know that every once in a while I have to re adjust the mouse pad position because my wrist bumps the pad or something. The mousepad is still in that unfolding stage, since it comes rolled up, but looks to be flattening itself quite nicely. Finally, the stitching around the sides doesn't look the best. While not fraying, it doesn't look 100% seamless and perfect which means I will have to look for durability down the line. All in all, I am happy with my purchase, and feel confident in this mousepads durability and performance despite the small issues that it does have.

Pretty much perfect gaming mat. I honestly can't find any faults.
This isn't my first Reflex Lab product purchase. A few years back, I ordered the Pro 9, which was a great purchase at the time. As you can see from the picture however, it has discolored a lot and is starting to fray at the stitching. It's also really small. After a little bit of thinking, I decided to pull the trigger on the 3XL gaming mat, and I can't believe how much better it is. The size really does allow for quite a bit of freedom when it comes to mouse movement. It has also been a godsend for my palms. I was contemplating buying a palm rest for my desk alongside with the mat, but after trying this out I don't think I'll need to. The 5mm of extra thickness really make heavy typing and constant mouse movements a lot more bearable. I also love the size. There's plenty of room for my keyboard and mouse, yet it doesn't crowd my desktop. I think if I had gone with the biggest Glorious mat, it would have cut it too close for comfort... it might have been a little too big.As for the quality, everything is perfect. There are no dark or light spots that I can tell, and the stitching along the edge is nice and neat. It laid perfectly flat after unrolling it onto the desk, and it is silky smooth across the entire surface. If there is one possible complaint. It did have that funky "new rubber product" smell after opening it for the first time. I remember my first Reflex Lab mouse pad also having that problem, so you do want to air it out a bit before setting it up in an enclosed space for the first time. I took it outside and ran a fan across the rubber bottom for a few hours. Once that smell goes away it will be gone forever, so it's not that big of a deal.I highly recommend it.

Great Desktop Surface for your rat to run around on!
I bought the XXXL version of the Mouse Pad/Mat (which I just call a "Desktop Surface" since it takes up the full 36" length & all but 4" of the width on the long side of the L-Shaped Desk it's on). It has so far exceeded my expectations & I like it better than the Xtrac Pads Ripper XXL surface that this has replaced. When I opened the plastic wrap, there was no chemical smell, which was nice. Also, it didn't take long, maybe two hours, to flatten out & all I did was lay my phone on one corner & the accessories box for my Roccat Nyth on the other corner with a desk lamp in the middle. Nothing was needed for the other end. I attribute this to the fact that the mat was not rolled tightly in the plastic wrapping, but instead was rolled gently, like a yoga mat, instead of how most mouse pads are rolled: very tightly with a final diameter of 2" or less. The final diameter was 4" or 4.5" I can't remember which. In the interest of fairness & full disclosure, the Ripper XXL was the older version without the stitched edges, so it's not a direct product comparison, however that was my second Ripper XXL, the first one having lasted about 5 years & surviving a move, two desk changes & being subjected to a few stretching feline claw punctures. Which means it's safe to say that I intended to purchase the updated Ripper XXL with the edge stitching but was turned off by the $32 price tag as well as the understanding that the surface, which strikes a compromise between smooth/fast & precision movements makes it what one might call a "medium texturing" requires some maintenance for the best performance. I would usually end up using a lint roller at least once a week to go over it & every 2-3 weeks I would have to take a slightly damp microfiber cloth to it.If this doesn't seem like much, consider this: I use a wrist rest with my rat & don't rest my arm directly on the surface. Instead, I have a black cloth napkin folded into a square which I place my forearm on. it's basically to protect the surface from the detrimental effects of human skin & oils, extending the life of the pad & likewise prevent extended contact/friction with the surface from irritating my skin, particularly at the raw edges. The napkin gets laundered regularly. The Reflex Lab XXXL Desktop Surface, by contrast, has wonderfully stitched edges in my favorite color, Blue, and the surface is quite supple. The term used in the marketing of this product is "silky smooth" & I find that to be an appropriate, accurate description. On several occasions I found that my protective napkin had shifted away from my arm, leaving my skin to contact the surface of the pad. Zero irritation to my skin. Likewise, my rat enjoys smoother gliding/skating & the very small brand logo is unobtrusive & looks, for a lack of a better description, to be "baked in" between layers. To put it another way: it's not a silk-screened logo that will eventually start to flake off to the point where your mild OCD compels you to remove it completely & have to take a hand-held vacuum to the surface yet still be haunted by the remaining ghostly outline. Until you rotate it so you don't see it. ;-OAll in all, I think this Desktop Surface will hold up for at least as long as the Ripper XXL did, if not longer. To maximize the usable life, have some suggestions. When stuff eventually does get on the surface, I wipe it off with a cloth instead of a hand (I usually do that with the napkin, which I still use save for the times when it occasionally drifts). Less to catch on the fabric & much gentler. To that point, I wipe it off regularly with a soft cloth, but I'm yet to have to use a damp cloth & I've had it about a month.I don't eat on it.I try not to set anything abrasive or rough directly on it.If I must lay one of my knives on my desk, it goes on the napkin every time. If it's my Benchmade, I make sure to close it 100% of the time, cause I know it'll go right through down to the glass if it slides off the napkin. There's a scar on the Xtrac Pad to attest to that fact, the "skin" of which is being of a tougher texture than the Reflex Lab's.

36x18" is like having a soft cloud massaging your arms and hands
First, the surface provides excellent recognition for my Bluetooth mouse, so mouse tracking works exceptionally well. Second, it is beautiful and smooth. The logo is almost imperceptible. Third, there are no smells, defects, marks or stains, as mentioned in other similar products here on Amazon. Finally, it is oh so large: I bought the 36x18 instead of the more common 36x12. It is my first large “mouse pad” and I can safely say the luxurious feeling of using these is second to none. Ah, and it fits my mechanical keyboard, mouse, one action figure, earphones and part of my monitor base (had to because it is so large I ran out of desk space!) with plenty of space to rest my arms. I can also fit my notebook when I'm not working with my external monitor and keyboard without having to reorganize the stuff on it.There is no way I'm going back. The feeling of resting your arms on it when working is great.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IN A BIG WAY!!!
Love it in a big way! SO impressed! It took about one full day for the right side to naturally flatten out. I guess I could have put some big thick books there to weigh it down, but who has paper books these days, lol. The rest of it was totally flat instantly after unwrapping/unrolling.SOOO Smooth! It feels like I just a got a new kick arse mouse, just by using this pad. I've been a PC gamer for decades. I never knew what I was missing by not having a product like this. Definitely enhances gaming aspects with better and precise mouse action. This thing will last for sure. Impressed with the quality of the border... not just the cool color intensity (i got the red), but the way it is made and put together. That is always the first thing to go on my old pads, even if the borders were sown in. This sucker’s border is raised and wrapped underneath to the back side. Very efficient how it was created. Meant to last. After getting one for myself and being so impressed, I hooked up every family member and all friends and neighbors with them for x-mass presents. Everyone got one and everyone loved them as I do. It's the gift that keeps on giving, lol.I had to reach out to the seller/company and their response time was in a half a day, and the customer service was beyond any expectations. Amazon needs more sellers like this (for their quality of product and customer service)!Needless to say, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IN A BIG WAY!!!

Uncomfortable edge stitching - Inaccurate tracking with laser mouse
I ordered this mouse pad because my mouse started stuttering and becoming difficult to move the pointer with my old mouse pad so based on the very high Amazon rating I ordered this pad.Initially it worked ok, not much better than the pad it replaced so I started thinking maybe it was my mouse or something wrong with the mouse drivers. But then I tested removing the mouse pad and using the bare desk and it was a night and day difference.I require very high precision out of my mouse because I do intricate video and photography work, so I have a high precision wired laser mouse and I have tuned my settings in Windows 10 for maximum precision. Over time this mouse pad started collecting little dust and dirt particles which made the mouse stutter to the point of being unusable; additionally, the stitched edges of the mouse are very uncomfortable when you are working for hours on high precision work. Attempts to clean the pad only made it worse because of the material it is made out of.I feel this pad would probably be fine for a ball mouse, or maybe for someone that does not need precision, but for my line of work this pad was a waste of money. I have ordered the 3M high precision mouse pad which has a smooth finish, looks like it is semi-reflective, and has a special pattern to improve precision. Hopefully that will be the last pad I need for a long time.

Squishy
For the price this isn't bad. Side by side with my Dechanic pad it looks nearly identical. However, the Dechanic is made from a much denser rubber foam. The Reflex Lab pad is a very squishy low density foam. I can write on the Dechanic pad if I'm careful not to use a sharp pen. Not so with this one. It works fine for it's intended purpose though as a good mouse pad. It does indeed have a chemically smell. Time will tell if it dissipates. I have noticed, that after resting my hands on it for a while the smell is in my skin and does not wash away easily. You can actually taste it on your skin after washing your hands multiple times. Not sure what to think of that, but hopefully it'll fade quickly. The odor isn't strong from the pad, but it's rather strong on your skin.

i would like to love this thing but it arrived permanently warped
this is a really great pad that deserves 5 stars except for one flaw (okay, 1.25 flaws?). because the way it is packed into its box, wrapped into a cylinder, the right most edge of the pad ends up at the center of the coiled cylinder and therefore has the most bend.well, it's been a month now since i unwrapped it and the warp present on day 1 is still there :( . see attached photo and video - i've tried placing heavy stuff like books and a monitor on the right side and the small bump is relentlessly refusing to go away.outside of the aesthetic issue this is not a huge deal, tho there *are* times where i am doing a panic 180 in some game where my hand brushes up against it and it feels noticeably wrong.i think given that the most users are right handed, the pad should be coiled with the left side being tightest during storage/shipping.there's also minor issues with the stitching (also pictured) that hopefully won't cause the edge to unravelanyway - the pad itself is awesome - super smooth, love the way it feels, love how secure it is.

Has a crease preventing the pad from laying flat.
The dimensions seemed to be pretty accurate. The material was pretty good as well. My biggest complaint is that they shipped the mat in a rolled up packaging. Unfortunately because of this, it has a crease that has not gone away. This crease makes one side bump up which prevents an even surface. I already threw away the packaging (I thought the crease would go away after a few days but it has not) so now I really don't have a way to return the item. I would recommend going with another mat that is shipped in a different manner.

Worth Every Penny - Best Desk Protection Investment
I can't believe I would like a mouse pad as much as I do. I invested in a very nice motorized standing desk and I considered going with a standard small mouse pad. I saw the reviews on this (and the white stitching as a nice accent color) and thought I would give it a try. Remarkably, I love it! It keeps my keyboard from potentially sliding and scraping the desk and it gives my mouse free range of motion. It's large enough to ensure no more going off the edge with your mouse if you're not paying attention! It protects the desk from spills or food crumbs (okay, we all eat at our desks, right?) and if I lean on an elbow, it is surprisingly thick and comfy against my elbow versus hard desktop. I love the stitched edges so it's very comfortable and it won't fray; plus, since it's one solid piece and not a piece of felt glued to some foam, it won't wear and begin to peel and roll off. The material is flexible and malleable so it conforms and is not stiff and unyielding. The rubber backing keeps it exactly where you want, no shifting if you lean or mess with it. You can even clean it in the washer or with a dish cloth and if it falls apart within a few months, for the protection it offers and the price, I would easily buy another! Very happy and glad I invested! Nowadays we all spend enough time at computers to make it a little nicer.

This pad really exceed my expectations
I wanted something big so my mouse pad would not move around as much, also just liked the idea of putting my phone and accessories on a nice surface. Read reviews that talked about the smell which gave me pause. This thing is awesome, it works well, repels water, is easy to clean, and really comfortable. I did a gentle cycle on the washing machine when I first got it, the smell was a bit much, then let it air dry. I kept it out but did not use it for about 2 weeks, then took it to my office. The smell was mostly gone in that time, but now months later, its completely gone. One tiny fray stop from it getting snagged when I initially set it down, but it has not worsened.Overall I love this thing and am planning on getting 2 or 3 more for my home office and gaming computer.

Just what I hoped for
Though I am a Grandfather I am really into pc gaming. Not that it matters but I am rated in the master level for Call of Duty Mobile. So my issue that made me search for the perfect mouse pad was that I kept running out of room on the standard size pads. So I took a chance on this one and could not be happier. It is very well constructed and just the right about of slipperiness needed for gaming and most anything else. It really looks great too :-) And dont panic when you get this if there is a strong smell, it goes away in a day or so and is common to this type of product. I hope the review helps in your decision... ps. message me if you are into call of duty mobile handle is droneracer1 take care everyone

Quality mousepad
It's a huge mousepad. I needed a huge mousepad. But the quality blows me out of the park. Quality surface that's soft but offers nice resistance. It's also thick, very thick, dare I say THICC. It's super squishy because of it, which is not only therapeutic to squish between my fingers, but also comfortable on my wrist and arm. The branding is super subtle, taking up not even 3 inches in the upper left corner. The reason my review is a 4 star over a 5 star is there's a tear on the upper left corner stitch, and that's not very pog. The edge stitching also seems really cheap, and at risk of tears and coming apart. Other than that, this is a very nice aesthetic piece to compliment my peripherals.
