I've been using the lemon scented bar for about a month now and I really like it! I tend to be quite sensitive to most commercial body washes, even the best ones leave me itching, but these bars are just the opposite! My skin feels great, not dried out. There's no weird smell and the lemon is very subtle. It lathers a little bit less than regular bar soap, but still suds up decently well! The ingredients couldn't be simpler and I like it that way. The only downfall is that I was hoping to also use it as a shampoo bar, but it leaves my hair feeling too oily even after washing and thoroughly rinsing. But that's to be expected since it's very gentle and intended for skin and not for hair. Overall, great product. I'll definitely be a repeat customer!

I really like this soap !I'm switching out many products for a more clean lifestyle and trying to live a healthier, with no toxins or added ingredientsI tried this soap and its a keeper !It cleans it has no strong smell ,no added ingredients. And keeps my skin soft and clean i even used it on my hair .But much prefer for my body .I will continue to purchase this brand !It also lasts and is worth the buy !I've uses it a month as you can see it's well made quality 👌

I love this soap. I used to use scented body washes with who knows what chemicals in them. I had a health scare and it caused me to start looking at all the bad things that are going into my body. Trying to change diet, cleaning products, body care products, etc all at the same time seemed overwhelming so I’ve been starting with small changes. This was one of the easiest changes I could make and I genuinely feel like my skin is happier without the chemicals. Using one bar for all over in place of a body was lasts me between 2.5-4 months. The bars are large. I chose an unscented bar because it was the least expensive (and I didn’t know if I would like it). It is really unscented with maybe the smallest hint of something that I guess is the tallow smell. Unless I’m really thinking and sniffing it…I smell nothing. It doesn’t lather up as much as my old soaps but I’m pretty sure the ability to lather up like that is chemically driven and not good for you. Overall, I felt this is an easy healthy change, good value, and a quality product. I have it on autoship now:)

Love the soap but only complaint would be the price for how long it lasts

I don't normally write product reviews but this soap truly deserves it. I had heard about beef tallow products as a carnivore dieter but hadn't paid too much attention to them until I found a huge mass on my thyroid. Suddenly, I'm looking at all the products that I use and am shocked that everything has endocrine disrupters like dyes and fragrances. This was the most natural soap I could find and what a huge turn around in my skin. I have always had certain areas that are habitually dry and even lotion would not 100% fix them. After using this soap for over 2 weeks, my skin is so smooth and almost has that glow you see in lotion commercials. I have not applied any lotion at all in the last 2 weeks and I'm softer than I have ever been. I even shaved with it and it was the smoothest shave I have ever had. I used to use conditioner to shave with and this soap is far superior. It is also far superior to the facial lotion soap I was using. My face isn't dry anymore and no more rebound oil. The people that I have told about this are immediately grossed out and think that the soap smells. There is an ever so slight hint of tallow but it does not last and once you start using the bar it isn't noticeable unless you sniff the bar itself. It does initially leave that sticky feeling that you get from Castille soap, which is strange when you're used to conventional beauty bars or body washes. But please don't quit using it! That sticky feeling is adding moisture and protection to your skin and once you towel off I promise you will not feel sticky. After a few weeks, I promise it won't feel weird anymore and you'll have the best skin of your life!! I'm sorry for the long review, but I am so grateful for this product. It is not only a beauty miracle but better for your whole body, no more toxic chemicals leaching through you skin.And people are not lying when they say this soap lasts. I use it twice a day and I still have a good sized bar left. Also, it really does not disintegrate like regular bar soaps. A few reviews mentioned it being expensive and my husband also commented on this when I bought it, but in my opinion it is extremely cost effective!! This is my rationale, it replaces the facial lotion wash, shaving conditioner, and the need for body lotion and it lasts a long time. My other reasoning is that the long term medical costs of using toxic products just doesn't seem worth it.

Got this as I’m not a fan of moisturizing lotions and thought it interesting that for centuries soap was made out of animal fats. I had two distinct places of scaly dry skin on my bald head and on the back of my triceps that are completely gone after just two weeks of use. Realize that I don’t Use it but every other day also. Doesn’t lather much but cleans well. Thought the bars were kind of small when I got them, but they seemed to hold up for a full body wash.
