Avery J8676-25 Self-Adhesive Full Face CD Labels, 2 Labels Per A4 Sheet

The usual high quality from Avery. The labels are ideal for DVDs or CDs. The Avery online label design software makes the printing easy and my Canon MX925 inkjet printed them off without a problem. The software lets you print either one or two labels and you should therefore not have any waste. The labels stick instantly to the CD so lining up correctly is essential. I adopted a tip from another reviewer and simply left the CD on its CD stack, used the spindle of the CD stack to line up. The centre holes are pre-cut. I advise practising a little in using the little winged attachments that come with each label so that your fingers don't touch the label itself. If the wings detach before you want them to, they can easily be stuck back on, allowing you to continue lining up the label on the CD.

This is an excellent product. Like most adhesive labels, the printed label is peeled from a backing sheet (two per A4); but unlike most, there are two, diagonally opposite, tags for handling the sticky label and positioning it on the CD/DVD. It is a brilliant idea. I recommend using a spindle pack - put your disc on top and then lower the label on to it - the spindle aids getting perfect centring - brush the label onto the disc and then the two tags detach cleanly. That way you get it right first time; and you need to, because these labels are certainly not going to come off inside the player, or anywhere else. I'd no problem locating the software/template on avery.co.uk (select 'find a template', enter the product number printed on the label sheet). It's basic, but it works unerringly. The packaging says 'inkjet' labels but I'm using them in a laser printer with no problems. Delivery was swift: two packs of labels in two mailings. I'll definitely buy more.

These labels are a little more flimsy than my previous set, but never the less do the job, and meet a high standard I expect of Avery. It is unfortunate that I use them in compiling a Nero 10 project where Nero describe these labels as J8676 CD/DVD Gloss labels which is quite erroneous. I should have looked more carefully at the product for sale on line by Amazon. Their spec is not described very well. But J8676 really is Full face and Matt. I can only apportion blame to Nero and not to Avery or Amazon.

These labels, although not the cheapest on the market, they certainly are the best by far. I've tried loads of others and some peel off in the machine or are difficult to put on. The 'wings' on these make it really simple to fix to the CD. You can download Avery's label software so get perfect printing every time. You can also send off for a little black CD 'centre' which Avery provide (and ship) for free which enables you to place the label on the CD perfectly - there's an email address on the label box.

I ordered these labels after getting fed up with waiting three months for the Neato version to become available. As a second choice these Avery ones have proved to be of superior quality (I have used Neato ones previously). The paper quality is very smooth and white and they print full colour without the label twisting into a spiral when pulled off the backing sheet. The only problem I had was trying to use the Avery template for positioning the label for printing, in the end I just created my own template in Photoshop with a little trial and error, and printing position is now spot on. In view of the fact the quality seems to be as good if not better than the Neato ones, and delivery came within two weeks I shall be sticking with these in future and quite happily recommend them to other buyers.

I've never used address labels other than those by Avery, so when it came to choosing CD/DVD labels, I went with Avery again - preferring quality over price. Quality is great and actually the price wasn't too bad either (although there are cheaper options out there, I would be concerned about the quality).

These labels produce a nice clear result. My only little gripe is that, no matter how hard I try to get the alignment right, there is always a small section left blank. I suspect this is a marketing thing, because then you might be persuaded to buy a more expensive product. Apart from that, great and good value for money.

I have not used this for quite a while but originally you could download software to work off line. Now it seems you have to go online to create your CD/DVD labels. It works quite well and is probably the modern way of doing things now. However I still prefer to work off line but that seems to be not the case. However overall everything works very well.

Sé que es un poco antiguo esto de grabar en CD y DVD, pero para mí sigue siendo necesario. Estas son las mejores pegatinas y se imprimen perfectamente en mi impresora láser a color. Utilizo el documento Word como plantilla en lugar de la aplicación porque va mejor con mi impresora. Queda perfectas.

Les étiquettes son semis brillant blanc et non blanc brillant faire attension aux 2 languettes pour les enlever car après quelque test l'étiquette déchire ou lesse des marque pour le reste rien a dire. Bon produit je le recommande.

The labels themselves are great; sticks first time, doesn't lift and therefore there is a need to get it right first time. The online only software however is slow and clumsy so not what I used in the end. I actually used a 'free' application that does watermark (on the edge) the disc and is only free for a month as a get around. To be fair as a result of this experience, were it not for the infrequency of needing to print on DVDs, I would get a printer capable of printing on DVDs.
