Q: Why is this so expensive? is 7.40 for a 12 pack here in texas. "shipping?" this price is ridiculous

The long and the short of it is that water sources in Monterrey Mexico for this specific product are suffering a brutal drought and drying up.And then add the pandemic delays, raw material shortages/supply chain and shipping issues and that’s why it’s so ridiculously expensive. A 12 pack of 12 Oz bottles,locally is about $19. The crazy thing is, I’ll buy it. it’s so crisp and refreshing, it keeps me from drinking diet pop which I’m trying to quit. I can open a bottle of Topo Chico and leave it on the night stand all night and its just as crisp and carbonated the next day.If carbonation is your jam, this is second to none. Hopefully bc the demand is high, they’ll find a way to work through it.
