Alpha Potentiometer, 500K Audio (Log)

I specifically decided to order these for an import partscaster I was making, and figured that because these are import pots I wouldn’t have to swap the control plate or anything, and I like the idea of solid shaft pots. Turns out these are 1/4 shaft pots not 6mm so I wound up buying a new control plate and new set screw knobs which was entirely what I was trying to avoid. If you wanna use 1/4 American spec pots, just shell out the extra few bucks for the CTS ones. These feel kind of grainy when turning as well. Overall not impressed.

Great product. Shipping was fast and packaging was very protective. Product worked flawlessly and the quality is better than expected. I would recommend this product to anyone who is considering ordering one (or more) of their own.

Difficult to turn when the nut is tight. Seems like a strange design flaw to me, but I just threw some loctite on it and left it less than 1/6 turn tight. Also, ungrooved poles are compatible with almost no standard knobs.

i looked everywhere at just about every replacement pot out there and by far these are the best ,the output on these are great! they are the smoothest feeling and sounding pot i've ever used,hands down the best,I can't say enough about them.if this is you're first time shopping for pot's take it from me, you wont be dis appointed, just make sure you have the right shaftlength to stick out far enough so your knobs will attach to them,

They sent me two knurled shaft pots instead of solid and one of them did not have holes thru the bottom six pins. Inconsistent quality and its not even what i order so now i need new knobs to fit the knurls.
