Table/Ceiling Mount Compatible with Arlo & Arlo Pro Wire-Free Cameras — by Dropcessories (Black)

I bought this as a replacement for the hemisphere mount that comes as standard with the Arlo cameras because I wanted an angle that couldn't quite be achieved with said mount.I selected this over Netgear's offering as it claims to be black and a white line would stick out like a sore thumb. Sadly it's not a badly lit photo (as was my assumption, given the claim that this is a black mount), the ball really is silver!There's also a ring of silver around the base. This latter issue is easily rectified by the application of some black insulation tape; however the silver ball stands out a mile off, waving "look at me".I'm going to have to spray paint it matt black - shame it couldn't just be black.

I am a huge Arlo Cam fan but the design of the camera only allows for very limited viewing angles, unless you also buy some accessories. While the Arlo cam itself seems to be ok-priced in comparison to other alternatives a lot of the official Netgear accessories are not. So this company produces private label accessories for the Arlo System and I have to say, they are good products and represent good value purchases. I have already bought their white table ceiling mount Table/Ceiling Mount for 100% Wire-Free Cameras (VMA1100) for Arlo Camera by Dropcessories  and now they have also launched a black version (for some reason Netgear did not think that people would want to use colors other than white.) These also introduced their own silicon skins  3 x Black Silicone Skins for Arlo Smart Security - 100% Wire-Free Cameras by Wasserstein  for almost half the price of the Netgear ones. I received one follow up email asking if I was satisfied with the product and service. Overall: money saved + friendly service + very good product = happy customer.

Looks okay, is larger than the OEM and allows a larger degree of rotation.. However the magnet is not strong enough to hold an ARLO PRO securely. slightest breeze and the camera dips down.

Perfect! Easy to fit. Enabled me to position my Arlo camera on the ceiling thus giving a wider view of my room. Slight adjustments to camera position took mere moments!

Bought these mounts to be used with the Netgear Arlo wireless security cameras, they are a very good addition to the camera set up.
