Bought 2 of these one for myself and another one for my older sister who's a teacher. She says she gives out card to everyone and thought she might like this to make it look even more cute to give out.

Ash everywhere after use, hard to clean. Also hard to clean the spoon after use every single time when change another color. You can only remove the wax when it’s hot. Then you’ll get burned easily.

As someone who has just recently joined the fountain pen community and found a new passion in writing, I thought adding something a little extra like wax sealing letters and other decorative accents would be nice. The first thing I really want to highlight is the wax. I personally thought the wax after stamped could be cracked or crumbled to open the letter or note that was sealed but the wax provides a much more secure seal than what I could have ever imagined. After melting and stamping the wax in this kit it becomes very tacky and somewhat elastic-ish. You'll rip the paper that the wax is on at the end of the day when opening. With that being said I'd recommend being cautious of where you seal a letter so that you don't destroy any of your writing or message.The tea candles are only good for about 4 melts max with 2 cubes of wax. I've yet to look for a different longer-lasting candle but that's for sure on the list. The melting pot is very cool and fun to use and I'm sure you'll feel the same way. For the price of this kit, I'd recommend buying it because of everything you get even thought the candles are of lower quality.

I will invest in a better more quality kit. I just wanted to see if I was into it and this served that purpose.

So far this kit has been 50/50 for me. If you like the wax seal stamp heads and the metallic markers, this kit may be for you, but the wax is a humongous pass.Pros:Comes with five (FIVE!) unique 3D wax seal stamp heads in fun shapes. I got this specifically for the paw print, which I haven’t seen for sale elsewhere.Extras like markers and envelopes are a nice addition.Cons:Wax is HORRIFIC. Colors are lovely, but it has a burning plastic smell when melted and an incredibly low smoke point. Don’t use unless you’re outside or using in a fume hood, the fumes are that bad.The spoon is coated with something that burns off and smokes when you first use it. I would suggest washing it before first use to try and avoid this.The seal handle is a little small and the other tools aren’t very well made.Overall, if you like the seal stamps, this kit may be worth it as long as you get your supply of wax from a different brand. If you want this kit because of the wax colors, pass on this and get another. You will need an electric heater to keep the wax from smoking and even then it will smell horrible and release fumes.

This is a great set it just takes quite a while for the wax to melt. I like the variety of wax colors and it’s easy to use.

Just received my kit and opened it right away. All the promised item are int the box, but a little disapointed that there is no foam shape with slots to store the items. I think I simply confused this kit with another one from when I was shopping online. All the items seem to be a good quality so far.I just tested it, and it works splendidly. The spoon is stable-ish in the seal warmer, so be sure to be somewhere safe and stable when melting your wax. I used 4 cobbles of wax, which was enough for 1 seal. It tooks 2-3 minutes for all the wax to melt, and it pour easily from the spoon (watch out for dripples though, as it is near impossible to clean them once the wax has cooled). I printed the stamp and let it in place for ~10 seconds. It came off easily, and the wax kept all the small details. Once cooled off, the wax is firmly stick on the paper, and is not brittle. I suppose I'll have the ripped the paper in order to open a letter.So an excellent purchase for the price.

The stand gets hot, so be careful when using it - it retains the heat for some time, too. The wax melted very nicely, and stamped totally clear. Such a lovely design for the tree. Looking forward to getting a lot of use out of this.There is some bubbling of the coating on the outside bottom of the wax pourer, and I can forsee it chipping off without too much use, but shouldn't affect the use of the product. The bowl is very smooth on the inside.
