Yankee Traders Old Tyme Sanded Hard Candy, Cherry, 1 Pound

Every winter I stock up on spiced gumdrops, and the clove ones are my absolute favorite. These candies are a great tradeoff! Very smooth texture and flavor, though contrary to other reviews on here, I found the flavor to be VERY strong - so much so that I definitely coughed a few times when enjoying my first piece. I suppose that's what happens when you're used to the toned-down gumdrop flavors. Do not regret the purchase whatsoever, but may break the pieces up a bit to reduce the feeling of inhaling a whole teaspoon of ground cloves with each breath.

If you are a cinnamon lover, this is the candy for you. My only issue is the desire to crunch the candy instead of sucking on it. Either way, the cinnamon flavoring rises to the top and it's one that I keep returning to again and again.

I'm on a bit of a clove kick so went searching for a clove candy and these fit the bill. The clove flavor is good and strong! They are more sweet than I'd prefer, and I wish they were about half the size - I'm sometimes afraid I'll end up choking on these as they are - but they are good and I'm enjoying them. They'll also numb your mouth a bit, as clove does, by the end, so they might make for a way yummier cough drop replacement.

These are exactly what I was looking for! I had a particular taste in mind and found another brand on Amazon Fresh. It was bitter and tasted artificial. But then I found Yankeetraders lemon drop hard candy and it took me back. My Uncle, who was like a second dad to me, used to have a little bowel of these out all the time in the center of the kitchen table. This is the taste I was looking for! A real treat and worth the price! Yep, just like old times!

Good price, great taste

This is my 2nd time ordering these Cinnamon candies in less than a month! Super delicious and really cure my cravings! The flavor of cinnamon is not too spicy, but spicy enough to where you keep wanting more! I also love the white powdery coating; I feel like it adds just that much more flavor!The price is great as well & I will definitely be ordering more!
