OUTBOUNDGENUINE NEW 100% WOOL HAT US ARMY WATCH CAP OUTDOOR ARMY HEADWEAR BEANIE

This is the 2nd one I've bought (lost the first one after 2 years) and I have to say some of the poor reviews are utter nonsense. It IS real wool, it IS made for forces use, it IS the right size for an average head (I'm a 6' 2" bloke and have an average sized head), it's warm but not too warm, it covers my ears if I need it and will last a long time. If you have an E.T. sized head or you want a designer brand label don't buy it.

Pure wool granted but so was the childhood balaclava that my granny knitted.Warm.Zero in three fashion stakes.

Reviews say it came up small but not for me, and it is lovely and soft, so it may not be wool. But it hella warm and might as well be wool. That or it's super high quality soft wool? I don't know.

Perfectly good, especially for the price. No seams, except at the crown. Fits a bit snugger than would be fashionable, but that's on a head bigger than average.Basic, but comfy, breathable, very warm and slightly rain-resistant.Did have an industrial smell (no, it's not lanolin) but that went away completely with one wash (hand-washed with wool detergent).

Very warm and looks good

Haven't washed it yet, but will do it by hand. Other reviews have mentioned the smell (seemed very plasticky), which I addressed with essential oils and airing it for a bit. I have a biggish head, this hat fits well, very warm, like the style.

First this beanie is too small secondly it stinks! I mean REALLY stinks! Its musty chemical smell that does not go away. I mean if this is 100% wool then I am 100% sheep. It only get's two stars because it was great source of amusement for my gf after I unpack it.

I was looking for a trad beanie and this is that. Not too tight, not too thick (those ones with fleece lining are too damn hot), rolls up nicely for the look, down over ears when required & lets me pretend I'm in The Last Detail. Job done.
