Great music. I love these old songs and Mel's singing.

He is the master of pitch, tone, and every nuance of the voice. And he doesn't scream in any of his songs to get his point across. This entire collection is a tribute to an amazing talent.

What can I say? The Greatest Male Jazz singer of the past sixty years, almost as good as Ella, once he stopped becoming 'The Fog', a name he hated!!

Have only listened to one disc and nothing memorable yet.

One of the great crooners, this is the definative collection. Some of the track sounds a little off, but to be expected in items so old. Would recommend this to all Torme Fans and to anyone who has never had the chance to hear this singer

Excellent cd

Good recordings but could have done with some expert editing as some numbers had poor musical qualities. However that voice! What more could you want than the sound of air being blown over windpipes of heavenly quality.
