Good decoy, damaged part when I opened it.
So overall the product looks great, just received it last night and I am currently working on getting a replacement for the head from Primos. I pulled the decoy out and the mental pin that it moves on had ripped from the plastic enclosure. It still worked enough to set it up and see how well it worked, but I would like a new head obviously. Other than the that, I would say this is a very easy to assemble decoy, it packs away nicely and is easy to haul to the stand. I will update if they replace the decoy's head when I hear back.Update: I contacted Primos via email and was helped by one of their reps (Tracy) who was extremely helpful and they are sending me a replacement head for the damaged one I received. I am changing the rating to a 5 star because I was very pleased with the decoy, the ease of setup and now the customer service is first rate. Well done Primos, I would recommend this decoy to anyone.

Great decoy. But...
The good part -Arrived with all parts. Easy to unpack.Decoy looks great. Eyes are very life-like. Head moves in the slightest breeze. Tail is very realistic and also moves in the breeze. Body is soft and exponentially quieter than the more expensive full-body decoys. Carrying bag large enough for decoy. Now the not-so-good part -As others have noted the bracket that holds the rod at the bottom of the stand is not very strongly welded. Also, the hook where the head hangs from the body had to be widened to fit the receptacle. Annnnd, last, but not least - there was so much paint on the ends of the metal rods they would not fit into their receptacles.I am lucky - as are many of my hunting brethren and sisteren - that I know how to weld and how to use the sundry tools necessary to fix the problems.Pros: Lightweight, very realistic, very easy to pack and set up. Best 3D decoy I've seen/handled for the money.Cons: They obviously do not do a final fit-and-finish at the factory and for the money they should. I am sure Primos has heard the beefs about this, yet...Overall this is a great decoy and I would have given it 5 stars, but if you don't have a couple of basic tools or know how to weld - or have a buddy that does - you might want to consider something else.

Great decoy for southern bucks!
I bought this decoy as a replacement to a very cheap similar decoy. This one is far superior in quality. The construction of the antlers, ears and body are very well made. The head does swivel in the wind but tends to stay to one side, may need some adjusting on my part. The first morning with this, I had a six point buck circle it and approach the decoy. After a gust of wind, the tail moved and the small buck darted off. The antlers are just the right size, you don't want them too big or it may scare off your more mature bucks. It is easy to assemble and disassemble. It fits nicely in its carrying bag.Overall, great product, very well built. I see many years of use out of this.

WORKS! Draws in deer. Some materials and build issues
This decoy really gets the deer's attention. I had many deer feel safe and approach this decoy in my 2016 archery season. It was honestly unbelievable how well this worked.CRAPPY WELDS!!. RE-weld the stand for better strength.I would be very vary leery and not use it in rifle season since it is very realistic at a distance. 2018 Edit. I put orange safety tape on the legs and stand and one on one side of the rack. deer dont notice. This product is best set up in a field or a area with at least 100 yards viability.Like many others have mentioned, the welds on the stand are crappy. Mine broke under high winds. Luckily I have a friend that welds so it was repaired asap. You can fit all pieces in the body but it take practice. 2018 update: the parts can get scuffed and paint scrape. still draws deer.Like many other suggest, you may need to cut the neck for more head movement. I did not need to yet.I suggest buying a small bubble level and gluing it to the decoys back. Having it be level is important for the best body movement.I HATE the bag color. I feel it should have been hunter safety orange since it covers any orange you are required to wear (on your back). 2018 updtae: The bag is the worst party of this. The draw string fell out in the late 2016 season (year I bought) the bag itself is a dangerous color to lug around in rifle season. IF THE CREATORS READ THIS: MAKE THE BAG SAFETY ORANGE AND ADD A CLIPPED STRAP SO IT CAN have a secondary uses as a stand marker for states that have the overlap seasons and you need to mark your hunting location within 15 feet!!!2018 UPDATE:Bought in 2016 and re-reviewing in NoV 2018. This decoy is still impressive. It draws doe in when you place it out as a buck. Keep it down wind and distant from the deer's know trails. I like putting this decoy in a feeding field or at the staging area going into a feeding field. I feel that up-close this decoy can spook deer, especially younger buck. I intend to flock the decoy to take some of the shine off it. I sprayed it with UV control.I admit I'm super impressed that 90% of the deer that have seen this have come into the decoy. Some come right up and others will close to about 70 yards. away but it ALWAYS draws them in and makes them feel safe in the field.ALWAYS place this up wind of where you are hunting. EVERY deer that has come into it (ESPECIALLY BUCK) have come in down wind. You want this up wind of you so the buck circle in downwind of the decoy to give you a close shot. I air it out or spray with cover scent or uses leaf smoke to mask the human scent it get on it. I'm only mildly careful about scent control on this decoy and big buck still come into this decoy. If using this decoy as a buck I will leave off one side of the rack so the buck seems less dominant. I feel the rack size intimidates some smaller (shooter) bucks. Smaller buck always come in if one rack is off and also stay on the side of the missing antlers. I've seen it enough to verify it works best with one antler.if calling or you want to draw in a buck you see at distance.....SNORT WHEEZE when using this as a buck decoy, especially if you see another buck. I also avoid pinning the ears back as it seems too aggressive. EVERY single buck I've called in I snort wheezed. On separate hunts I've drawn buck off doe from 200+ yards across a field with a snort wheeze to come in and investigate this decoy. Works on large and small buck.
