Another Indegogo backer here. I wish so much I could give negative stars. The crazy part is I thought I would read these other bad reviews and see my issue, but I have another issue that makes me hate this company. Mine connects fine, I have camera and gps. My issue is when I take off the drone dips and flies off to the right and crashes in about 2 seconds. I have completed all the steps they recommended. I should have known something was wrong when you have to apply firmware updates before you ever fly the stupid thing. That means they knew they shipped a non functioning item. I have tried to contact support, they take about 3-5 days between emails and all they do is repeat the same garbage they have on their updates. I wasted 2 weeks telling them I already did the steps they had already posted. DO NOT BUY, this company needs to go away.

*NOTE* The IOS app no longer works and the company is not supporting it anymore.It's a beautiful little drone with a lot of power and features, but it's almost totally worthless for the intended purpose. It doesn't respond consistently to controls (even when it's only a few yards away), battery life is abysmal for a photography drone and it just spontaneously decides to go wherever it wants to (sometimes getting quite a distance away before you can stop it)It might have had some value as a hobby drone if it could have been modded or parts recovered from it. The design is attractive and it has potential, but that potential can't really be unlocked. As it is, it's been sitting in the case for about a year waiting to see if anyone comes up with any useful hacks for it.Avoid like plague.*ADD* - If you're looking for a really nice alternative that actually works, check out the Ryze/DJI Tello. I got my Kudrone today and tested it indoors in a large are. It flew great. The controls did what I told it to do, it hovered without issues. The video is crap. The video is far from 4K looks horribly. There is no image stabilisation so moving it right left up and down its all choppy. Flight time was less then 5 mins on a a charge A full charge takes about an 45mins.When the battery message displays low land it right away or it will crash. It doesn't auto land in case of batteries go to low.For these reason I gave it a 2 star. I give 3 star on the controls.

I was original backer. Received my drone year later and tried to use it and it over heated never turned on. After weeks and months of emails I sent it to China cost me $30 to send and received it back undelivered. They told me to send it to California address and the told me that repair center is non existent so they sent me a new drone that doesn’t connect. After months of emails they told me I need to program firmware on drone with Windows computer. I haven’t used a Windows in 20 years I told the. They suggested I borrow a Windows computer and do the update! Are you kidding? I emailed them back fir replacement. This is a nightmare product.

So far just one star since it is uncontrollable, and i'm a pretty experienced drone pilot ... instructions are horrible, incomplete, and in some cases backwards ... No info on compass calibration, but one of their videos shows it prior to flight ... again w. no instructions ... so maybe if i can figure out how to do that it will be responsive to controls ... be wary ... very wary ...

I have a very extensive drone collection, ordered this only as a collector item because it is the smallest GPS drone on the market.......GPS has never worked best I can tell, hands down.....i mean beyond a shadow of a doubt the worst and hardest drone to fly PERIOD....If you are looking for an awesome 100 drone....by a Tello....no question the best for 100.

I ordered it online and waited 6 months until I received it. After the second flight one of the propellers stopped working. I wrote to kudrone . They wrote me back that they do not have a repair shop in United States since it is built in China. One year later I wrote again. Never got any response from them. Just a piece of Chinese garbage .

Another Indegogo backer here. Writing this review to save others money. This drone is absolute garbage! Never worked as advertised despite updating software per the manufacturer.
