Perfect for a 3 year old
Spent ages looking for an construction kit for my grandson. This had the best reviews. The price is great and it's perfect for his age and he loves it. It was his favourite birthday present. However, if the manufacturer had just spent a little more on quality of the plastic especially for the crane which keeps falling over (not that my grandson cares) and added a couple of building items with handles that can be attached to the crane for winching up you could charge a lot more for the product an it would be top quality. I would defiantly recommend this for a small child who loves building and lorries.

Good value toy
My kids love cars, construction vehicles etc but had already been bought the truck carry case that stores lots of cars. This is different because it folds out and can be played with and they love it. Well made and some parts are made out of metal. The vehicles inside are good quality. The sides of the container vehicle come apart very easily and click together to close. Big bonus is not having to put stickers onto the truck or smaller vehicles. Stickers need to be put onto the road signs but I didn't bother because I was planning on binning them, but my eldest (7yo) was happy to sit and put all the stickers on himself. Took me a little while to figure out how to connect the 2 bits of ramp together but apart from that, very easy to put the whole thing together. The crane has a small knob that can be turned to change the length of the hook rope. Comes with a very thin playmat that my kids don't tend to use. The batteries go in underneath the cab and there are 4 buttons on top of the cab that play music, the reversing beep, a horn and engine sound. It doesn't drive itself along but it has friction wheels. Only just realised that inside the container truck on the floor where the chevrons are, there's a little device that pings the vehicle out of the back of the truck!

Nice
Slightler bigger than expected which was fine although we got for a stocking filler so it was a squash lolOn the whole they seem fairly robust but some parts a bit flimsy. Our son was mega impressed

Look and work great but you need real heavy plant machinery to get them off the box
This look and feel great, all the major parts work and they feel quite sturdy. Why they screw them into the box is beyond understanding though as it took ages to get them off

Not robust enough for play!
Good selection of vehicles but much less robust than I expected. They lasted less than one day of play by a four year old before bits fell off. I thought they would be made of strong metal (like Dinky cars). Too much weak plastic.

Little bit fragile
Boys Christmas present, not great for boys that play very boy like I mean making the crash they aren't designed for heavy hands

Packaging is a nightmare...
My son loved these toys... Me, not so much. They’re screwed into the box (why!?!?!?), with tiny screws that are set at the bottom of these ridiculous “tubes” (I don’t know how to exactly describe them). Unless you’ve got the exact type of stupid-sized screwdriver, you’re gonna introduce your kids to some new swear words, as you struggle to free the stupid things! Why do toy companies insist on doing this? Why do they hate me? Why?!?
