Does what it says on the tin. What it didn't say was you can't use it in dangerous environments where gases may be present.

fits in pocket, easy to use. works very well and seems to be decently built. I've been using one in an industrial setting for over a year and the only thing I've had to worry about was my colleagues stealing it for themselves! worth the purchase price.
