DELL 11'' HD IPS Chromebook, Intel Celeron Processor Up to 2.40GHz, 4GB Ram, 16GB SSD, Super-Fast WiFi, Chrome OS, Dale Black (Renewed)

I've had this for a week now, and I'm going to try to do my best to give a thorough review. Pros: - It came in great, impeccable condition, really, with the right charger and everything. - Awesome battery life - Comfortable keyboard - Easy to navigate (I used to have a decent windows HP but it got destroyed due to a water accident, so I wanted something cheap that works, primarily for creative writing. I have limited experience with Chromebooks, but this has been super easy to learn) - Even though this Chrombook comes on it's last update (see Cons), there are still plenty of helpful add-ons to be downloaded from the Play Store. For example, the voice recorder I downloaded (and internal mic of the chromebook) produces better sound quality than my moderately expensive HP - I like the sleek, all black design - It doesn't run hot or loud Cons: - Wifi detection can be pretty weak, so make sure you have access to a strong wifi connection - Headphone jack seems to be a little worn out, so sometimes depending on how I move the chord, the sound quality in my headphones changes (this is probably a problem that is exclusive to my chromebook) - It is a tad slower overall than middle to high end laptops, but not unbearable - Since Chrome is on it's last update, you can't download crucial extensions like Adblock. Overall, for 62 dollars or something after taxes, this is an amazing laptop. Frankly, I love it, and all the cons are not deal breakers at all. I guess it also comes down to the quality of the individual Chromebook that is shipped to you, as I suspect some are in better condition than others, but if Amazon's inspection process has improved, then I would think that the odds of getting a dud are less and less. Bottom line: If you want a laptop that's good and cheap, this is perfect for browsing, watching videos, writing. It's a tad slower than your higher end laptops, but oh well. It's fantastic, really.

Absolutely Love this for the price! Only $50. What a bargain! And it works fabulous!

The laptop that I thought I purchased and the laptop I received are two totally different things. When unpacking the computer I didn’t notice anything really just by first glance. Tried to turn it on, wouldn’t come on. Plugged it in, and it came on. I noticed there was a black piece of like sticker so I thought jt was a protective cover that comes on it, pulled it off to find what you see in the picture. I have never had this happen on Amazon and I’m completely shocked. Also you can not use the laptop at all unless it is plugged in to a power source. The battery life is completely shot. Definitely disappointing that I bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter and this is what I receive for the money I paid. Dishonest. I’d like to give no stars.

Runs a little slow sometimes but overall great for what I need it for

I needed a cheap laptop quickly for a few projects I'm working on and this one has exceeded my expectations. For the price I wasn't expecting it to look and behave like a new one. It is the perfect size to work on without being too wide or bulky. It fits in what my mom calls my "movie going purse" (if you know , you know 😁). I ordered it late in the day, so I expected it to ship the next day but to my utter joy I received a message a couple hours later saying it shipped and would arrive by 10pm the next day. I was pretty excited that I would get it a full day before I expected. Once again though, my expectations were exceeded in the most wonderful way when I woke up to the notification that my package had been delivered. There was obvious care taken in the packaging to ensure that nothing could harm this refurbished beauty. I have to give props to the delivery peoples as well because the box it shipped in was even in pristine condition which tells me that from start to finish everyone involved in the handling of my purchase treated it like I imagine they would would their own. Anytime I need anything else I know who to look for!

Works amazingly. Plays games greatly.

The computer arrived in good condition and works well. It is a good buy for the price. The only problem is that older Chromebooks (5-8 years depending on the model) may display a message : "This device will no longer receive software updates". My computer displayed that message. I am not sure why it would be this way. I could understand if it was an Apple product since that seems to be their business model - buy a new computer every 5 years. It is something to keep in mind when considering this computer.

Works great and exactly as described. My son uses it all the time. Great battery life also.
