Works Great For A Lot Of Lights
I bought this to power my MR16 6W(50W equivalent) lights. We've got 12 spots in one room. We do use this as a dimmer too. At first I tried just installing the lights using the old transformers and we got flickering. I ordered this and it works perfectly. The 12 lights have a total load draw of 72W and so far I've got no issues. Per the instructions you should stay at or below 80% of capacity which is 84W. Be advised it's very hard to get the grey cover off. It feels and sounds like you're breaking the plastic. You're not. Just stick a large flat blade screwdriver in one of the holes and start to pry it open. It'll snap and crackle, but that's normal, for this transformer. We have a dimmer on these 12 lights. It works very well and smoothly.

Noisy, flickering LEDs, useless, avoid!
No transformer noise? No flickering? Well I experienced both of these problems, also there was no packaging or instructions so I had no idea how to open it to connect the wires, I had to log into amazon and look at the pictures to try and figure it out. Basically the item is not as described so I wouldn't bother, mine is getting returned!

Quality power supply
Only fours terminals to attach. However the 'mains in' cover box is hard to remove so the cable can be attached. No flickering with LEDs as described.

Excellent when upgrading 12v lights to LED
Excellent units. Bought three of these to replace a mix of older 12v transformers intended for halogens and one of which gave up the ghost when new LED bulbs were installed. They were easy to fit (once you understand you have to lever up the cover on the mains terminals with a screwdriver) as a straight swap for the old transformers. Paired with good bulbs (Osram LED superstar) and LED-specific dinner switches they dim progressively through the full range and run absolutely silent, unlike the very noisy previous units. There are cheaper boxes out there but these are great.

Needs to be less deceptive about claiming its an LED driver in its description.
Although they claim this is driver for LEDs, you need to make a diode bridge rectifier and place an electrolytic capacitor after for it to drive LEDs at full power and without flicker. I have a box of random electronics so I was able to get it to work, but if it were not for that it would have defeated my idea to use it to drive some nice 12V DC LED lights. The misleading name refers to the 12v AC halogen bulb replacement LED lights. Not plain LEDs which are by definition DC only.

Works well no more flicker lights (led MR16 12v)
As stated else where the terminal cover is a bit tricky but not a deal Breaker, it is just better you know its a bit tough to get out.

Not in suitable selling condition
The item was cracked on the side and the tech specs printed on the driver were smudged- there is no mention of this item being in a ‘used’ condition- which it clearly is. How is the electrical integrity of such item checked before it is sold?
