Fixed the Freesat recorder hard drive
This works brilliantly in a Freesat Arris recorder. The quality of Freesat original hard drive is terrible and we have had 3 of them break 2 months out of warranty. Expensive to replace with a new device so gave this hard drive ago. It fits well, although has to be loose due to the Freesat design. It works, didn’t need any formatting and was a simple case of slot it in, replace the cover, turn it on and it’s good to go. Videos are available on YouTube if you are not sure how to open the Freesat box and disconnect the old hard drive.

Replacement for Freesat HD
Bought to replace freesat HD that had failed, working well so far, although the Amazon delivery left a lot to be desired! Obviously the driver had a previous job as a US paperboy because he just tossed the package in the general direction of the front door!

Good value and affordable storage
We use a lot of drives at work as I own a computer shop and Hard Drive failure is surprisingly common place, these drives are reasonably fast and a reliable brand that we are always happy to recommend. They represent reasonable value versus size/storage per GB and are ideal if you don't want the speed of a solid state drive.

Replaced original in a sony vaio
The orig was same model, I assume this is a factory refurb but performs great did a seed test before formatting very good performance, laptop gets hot and stressed the hd but i cannot hold the hd responsible for that. formatted great runs great does the job.Pros:Cost effective, good performance, exactly the same model as origCons:have not found one yet, time will tell. running about 12 hours a day for over a month now

Perfect replacement for a broken laptop drive.
Perfect replacement for a broken laptop drive. Basically saved me replacing the entire laptop and cost me about an 1/8th of the price. Seems to be working fine a couple of months in. Good value and a quality product.

Hard drive easy replacement
Sitting with a dead laptop and anticipating a bill in the hundreds to replace or repair it .I was more than happy to risk £30 to try and resurrect it and it worked. I replaced the hard drive and have renewed most of the former programmes which would have still been necessary if I had bought a new laptop so £30 is excellent value for money
