I love this deck. The art in the cards is beautiful to look at and the card stock quality for me makes them easy to shuffle and use.

The artwork and creativity behind this deck is absolutely fabulous, i can look through this deck multiple times over and over.Some cards are a little harder to read than others and some can also be a little too similar but amazing work on the design regardless.For tarot readings itself i have found the deck to be a little intimidating to the querents so only use this for personal readings at this point and i do feel for a beginner it may also feel overwhelming. A stunning deck though and glad to add to my collection!

A good well designed & well made deck

This is one of the more unique and colorful decks I have in my growing tarot deck collection! First of all, there are two versions of this deck: the special edition where the cards have gilded blue edges, foil highlights on the back sides, and they come in a sturdy cardboard box with the flip top lid and magnetic closure. I bought the standard deck, no foil accents and they come in a standard box with a tuck-flap closure. (They also came inside an outer cardboard box, which provided extra protection during shipping - see photo.) I believe the design side of the cards are the same though. Standard deck was less than half the cost and I'm glad I bought that version.My pros: the cards themselves are a nice thickness without being too stiff or too flimsy. They have the nicest glossy finish, which feels good to hold and makes them slippery enough to shuffle so smoothly. The cards have a thin black border, which really makes the vivid colors pop. The images all feature stylized hares/rabbits. Most of them have enough relation to the standard Rider-Waite-Smith (RWS) symbolism to be recognizable - like the Five of Pentacles shows the five coins against a stained glass window with a character walking by, the hermit traveling with a lantern, etc. Overall the cards have a darker tone to them, although the colors are rich and bold.The cons (to me, may not bother other people): the only thing that really bothers me is the labeling/numbering of the cards. The Roman numerals are in a tiny circle in a very small, fine print - not easily readable at quick glance. They overlay the images (rather than being highlighted against a white background) so they're hard to read, especially on the darker cards. The words on the major arcana and court cards are slightly easier to read but are also overlayed on the colors of the cards (see pictures above).Overall impression is that I like the uniqueness and striking colors of these cards. I'll have to work with them a bit more to become familiar with the designs, especially since the numbering/naming of them isn't easily readable at quick glance. They're a fun addition to my tarot collection, but may not be the first deck I reach for when doing readings for other people. Because of their creative design, I feel I'll read them more intuitively vs. just memorizing the standard RWS meanings.I wasn't familiar with the Witchy Cauldron brand before seeing/buying this deck, but I plan to look them up to see what else they offer.

It was love at first site as I saw the deck. Very talented illustrator, cute figures, very well done cards, RWS based. I am not happy with the cardstock though, too slippery, too shiny, but that's just me. Still, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. It's a lovely deck!

I bought these on impulse I'd never heard of them! They are really fun the designs the cute creatures! Every card is beautifully different no pips ! Loved them !

I love tarot, hares, and dark art, so when I saw this deck, it did not take long for me to add this to my cart. First thing's first, I got the Standard Deck because the price couold not be beat, and on sale was half the price of the Special Edition. So with the Standard Deck, the edges are not blue, and it comes in a regular box, like a typical Ryder Waite box. On the one hand, there is no typo, but honestly I love the feel of the nicer box with the lid (from other decks I have), even with a typo. Second, the edges in the Standard Deck are not that beautiful blue, which I did not realize when I purchased.So my initial reaction when the deck arrived was I was bummed that it wasn't the nicer box, and when I removed the deck from the box, I was bummed the edges weren't that metallic blue. BUT, the artwork, feel, vibrancy of color and gloss of this deck is hands down the best in my collection of tarot and oracle cards. Wow! What beautiful and incredibly vibrant color, even in the "dark" photos. I am so pleased with this deck, and honestly they're so incredibly beautiful I feel like even though I got the Standard Deck, with the cheaper box and plain edges, I completely scored an exquisite deck.These are definitely not for the beginning tarot reader but are a must for anyone who loves hares and a beautiful deck to add to their collection. You can decide if a nicer box with a typo and those pretty blue edges are worth double the price, but just get one!
