Great hospital book for kids. Look up on YouTube and will see that it's wonderful story to ease hospital worry for kids. Got for 3 year old upcoming hospital stay and story held his attention.

Gives kids a first-person view of what you may experience at the hospital and the emotions you may deal with. I find this to be a lot more helpful for kids than other books that just go on a tour of the hospital.

Most books for kids about being in the hospital present the experience like it's a visit to a museum. This book explains the reality of being hospitalized as a child. There are blood test, IVs, x-rays, etc. But Harry has help along the way. His parents are with him and the doctors and nurses work hard to make him understand why he needs the tests in order to get better. There is even a child life worker who lets Harry deal with his negative feelings by play acting with a doll named Dr. Bob.

I bought this for my daughter who has had to spend time in the hospital due to multiple surgeries. She could relate to the little boy, all the tests, and the hospital environment. Nicely written and illustrated.

5 year old granddaughter loves this!

Bought it for my 4 yo, just to give her an idea, what happens to people in hospitals. She really liked the story and asked a lot of questions- another mystery in life solved for her :)

Doesn't really work for a 30mon old.
