ShadowStep Wired USB Controller for PC Windows Mac NES

Purchased these to be used with a Raspberry Pi running Retropie. They were plug and play with the device which I was pleased with, the B + A buttons feel responsive and not cheap, however the D-Pad is excessively "loose" feeling, which made playing games such as Contra challenging in a bad way, a good example of the issue would be, needing to hold down in order to stay prone and fire at turrets, for seemingly no reason the sprite would stand up and move forward, unfortunately if you press more than ever so slightly it forces the left/right buttons to engage also, also struggled entering the Konami code with the controller and ended up using my SNES style controllers isntaed. I would not recommend for anybody attempting to simulate challenging NES games. For the price however they fit the bill, look convincing and work nicely. The cables are shorter than a typical NES controller also.

It works for games like the original Super Mario Bros. but any game that you need to hold up or down on will not work on this controller. The up and down keys on the D-Pad work but if you hold it in it almost never works. It's a really good price but not great value, just buy a more expensive one or the original with an adapter.

Looks good and moves okay however the D-pad can be a little temperamental. Great for the price tho

I have been searching for sometime for a USB controller and this one seems to just tick all the boxes, very good quality and a speedy delivery! I will be recommending this product to other people after my recent purchase!
