Good froth with enough heating

I bought this in the green color, which I love. The froth is smooth and creamy. The stainless steel pot is so easy to clean. None of that toxic non-stick stuff that ends up collecting burned milk that is nearly impossible to remove (think about the much more expensive Italian frother). The frother fitting just lifts out and easy to clean, too. You can put it and the pot in the dishwasher. We have had it now for about a month and have no regrets about this purchase. Perfect for now -as long as it keeps working!

I was ready to finally ditch my battery-powered frother, but skeptical of the price and size of this electric alternative. It's one week and many cups later, and I am in love. The high-foam is as thick as shaving cream, capable of keeping its shape. The low-foam option infuses coffee with a subtle creaminess. It's fairly quiet, takes just a few minutes and yields a perfect consistency. The frothing wand is held in place magnetically, so it's easy to remove and wash. The steel pitcher and plastic lid also wash easily. I use 1% milk and the foam is fantastic. I've also tried soy and almond milks. They foam well also. It's so worth the counter space, because my pour-over coffee is better than almost any coffee shop's offering. It turns itself off after 30 seconds, an important feature for any heating mechanism. Just perfect in every way.

I have been looking for a frother/steamer for a while now. This is convenient and easy to use. You get 2 temps which is perfect because my daughter likes hers hot, but I have a sensitivity to hot and cold so even though 140 degrees is still a little too hot, its is perfect for what we use it for. I just have to let it sit a few moments before I drink it. The only thing is that you don't get as much froth with the higher temp, and after 6 months, I noticed recently that its not frothing as well, but still working fine.

Likes: This steamer is quiet and quick. I steam enough milk for 2 cups of coffee and 1 bowl of oatmeal. I am young with Osteoporosis, can’t tolerate the sugar in oat milk, and soy and almond milk are not options. I started steaming whole or skim milk. Whole is more silky and less sugary tasting than skim but with this steamer you get super hot milk and hot silky foam. There is no cold foam feature. My stomach does not tolerate cold milk but I enjoy 3 cups of steamed milk a day, either in coffee, in oats, plain with honey and cinnamon, or with vanilla & tiny chocolate chips to get the best cocoa ever.The design of the stainless steel cup is ideal for easy cleanup and dishwasher safe.The money for this is just right. Don’t waste your money buying plastic since it turns the flavor into something not pure tasting. I returned 2 steamers because of this plastic taste issue.Dislikes: Pour milk into the steel mug CAREFULLY because the first time I used it I poured vanilla and milk, it trickled down the side, and I did not notice. Then I placed it into the electric base. Turned it on and smelled the drizzle burning. I did not ruin the steamer but make sure to dry it well before turning it on as this could potentially ruin it.
