Review: Super christmas read for KS1 and lower KS2 - I have just recently read his book to my Y2 class and they loved it.It is a laugh out loud book with repeating phrases that the children can join in with on their own. I am lucky enough to have a visualiser in my class and was able to show the book on the interactive whiteboard as it is very small. A super alternative to the traditional christmas stories and one that will be brought out year after year.
Review: Very funny and had us in stitches throughout the story - Brilliant story! My 6 year old son thinks this is hilarious especially since he (and his mummy) hate brussels. Its well written and continually made us giggle. Very cute ending too. Well done Allan Plenderleith!

My 5 year old son loves this book. He is learning to read and he likes that he can work out the words in the book. He sits and looks at the book almost every day. we bought him 4 other Christmas books and this is his favourite book. He like books that are a little on the cheeky side and it encourages him to want to read more. I will be buying more books from this author. My other children like this book they are age 8 and 11 but think its more for the age 5-8 age range.
