American Crew Forming Cream 50 g

Immaculate product. Great value.

I had used TIGI bed hair for about 2 years and got bored of using the same matte wax product so decided to try something different, and opted for this.I apply a finger scoops worth to towel dried hair and work it all through my hair then finish by blow drying my hair into the shape I want. The product gives a healthy natural shine to your hair ( not greasy which I was worried about) and has perfect hold which allows me to style my hair and for it to hold nicely through the day or to be messed up and restyled (which I often do). The product also has a likeable sweet smell to it.I would highly recommend this product.

If you haven't used American Crew product(s) before then prepare for luxury. Firstly there is no 'greasy' sheen from forming cream, just a good hold without a 'gel' slick effect. Secondly this stuff smells delicious, even in little amounts. I've used lots of various hair products in the past but just keep coming back to this stuff. The only reason that I give it 4 stars is the overall price; but it is imported from the USA and VERY difficult to buy elsewhere. So if you are still reading this review and wondering if you should buy this the simple answer is yes; it will make your life slightly better, unless you don't have any hair.

A little goes long way and works the next day too..

It has taken me 25 years for me to find a decent hair product! This is it.I've been using this stuff for about a year now and it is amazing. I'm blessed / burdened with straight and extremely fine hair, so trying to find something that can help give the illusion of volume and also be controllable has been hard. This product is quite thick (it is a cream, but it is heading almost toward a thin paste... imagine something similar to vaseline in consistency) and feels ever so slightly gummy, but it has a lot of texture. It does add a little bit of shine to your hair. It provides medium control (so you can put some pretty interesting shapes / definitions into your hair) and you hardly need any of it to get a good finish.There aren't really negatives to write home about, other than the fact that I haven't ever seen it in the supermarkets (hence the use of Amazon) and it isn't the cheapest hair product. It is certainly worth the premium (for me at least) as I've tried most of the products you can buy off the shelf at the supermarkets and this stuff is in a different league.

Unbelievable! Just received this hair cream and to my utter bewilderment, it has a bar code sticker right over the label. Now, everytime I indulge in this little bit of luxury (£9 isn't cheap for an 85g pot of cream after all), I can enjoy looking at a flipping bar code instead of the fancy label I was meant to see. In the big scheme of life, it's insignificant, but what dipstick does this? It is no different to buying an expensive bottle of perfume and having the daft sticker put on the front of that. Who would want it? It's not even easy to peel off. Had to resort to some white spirit to do the job. If I go out smelling like a freshly cleaned paint brush, I know who to blame. Not happy!!

Love this product. First time getting it and great for a decent hold without using massive amounts. Non greasy and only a small amount needed through wet hair and then blow dried into you preferred style works brilliantly. Highly recommend

This is amazing my husband loves it. It doesn’t leave that nasty wet look that gels leave. This is so natural and nice!!
