We are a warm weather family so when preparing for a cold trip we searched for things that might help us. We found the HotHands Warmers and were not sure, but gave it a try. These are now going to be a winter fixture for us.The hand warmers come in pairs that you open and shake to activate. The key to these warmers is the constant agitation creating the internal chemical reaction causing the heat. The had warmers are not large in size and easily fit in pockets, gloves or mittens and the material is not abrasive. The warmers come in pairs, one for each hand. Through regular intervals of shuffling or tumbling in the hand/s the warmers are activated and stay warm. Be warned, they can get VERY warm, but it is fully based on the amount of regular agitation. They are good for a number of hours and we have even placed them in a bag and reused them a second night.The only downfalls of the product is the regular need for agitation, the user needs to keeping agitating the bags to keep them warmed, and the size. But, on the other hand, they do not require batteries, are great in all weather and they do have larger warmers available.overall, we have found this product to be true to word and great in cold weather.

They last a long time and provide a lot of heat

My job requires me to lift a heavy item repeatedly throughout a day and sometimes my hands hurt a little. I bought hot hands to heal my hands. After the first night of using this, not only pain subsided , but also the range of motion increased. I noticed the hot hands are still warm in the morning, so I placed them on other part of my body, and they stay warm for some more hours. Relatively inexpensive and our money well spent. Recommend hot hands for everyone with working hands and bodies.

Great product, essential for cold winters

Bought these for my daughter while she waits in car line. They work perfect and produce great heat.

Fall in Scotland was cold enough for this LA native so I knew I had to get something for my return in winter since my hands don’t warm up easily.These packs really do stay warm for ages. They seem to have a peak stage of warmth as theyre just warm at first then get hotter after a while. They’re a bit smaller than i thought but definitely heavier than anticipated. It’s a useful thing to have but will add weight to my suitcase for sure. Each rip open package contains 2 hotpacks each in it’s own section so you can only activate one if you choose.I tried to consider portable rechargeable battery hand warmers but wanted to have something that would keep my friends hands warm too. They are small enough to tuck into gloves but will probably feel too hot in one localized area before long. These have no odor and will be a godsend in the good old Scottish weather.

These are wonderful! I bought a case each for my fiancé, father and two sons. They all live. Warmth lasts 10+ hours! Great for working outdoors or winter activities!

I suffer with cold hands - these are my must have buy each winter. Best on the market for me.

I don't review Amazon products because I have found over the years that the products and service ranges from good to acceptable. However I would like to comment on the Hot Hands product. I have found them quite superior to Little Hotties.I don't live in a cold climate, but my hands are chronically cold and I walk in the early morning, so I use hand warmers quite a bit in the winter. Hot Hands is the best product that I have found. Little Hotties advertises an 8 hour stay warm period. I have found that the period is closer to 4-5 hours, Hot Hands stay warm for close to 12 hours. Hot hands gets hot quicker than Little Hotties and it is more comfortable in the hand. Little Hotties seem to have a sharp edge and it is uncomfortable. Hot Hands fits nicely in my hand and does not have sharp edges.I would like to conclude by saying that I am very satisfied with Hot Hands, and will continue to use them during the cold winter mornings.

Purchase plenty of these every winter for walking and cycling

With these, I’m able to sit in the tree stand all day. If you open one up in the morning, it will last almost until the next morning. I stuck them in my boots and in my gloves.It’s not necessary, but if you want them a little hotter, take them out and shake them a little, then put them back. I will purchase again.
