Not for shorter hair. Bummer because this is a great curler. Easy to use and curls well. Didn't read the instructions but was able to figure it out in like a minute. Got hot really fast and beeps when your hair is done. I just have a bob and it's too short for this one to get a good hold of except where it is a little longer in the front. I'll be returning. If your hair is shoulder length or longer, this would probably be perfect for you.

My hair is super straight and curls never hold, but with this they stayed for at least 2 days, the pic with the dark shirt is right when I style it and the other one is the night of the second day, the third is my regular hair. I think if I put them up for some time and use hairspray they will hold better but I’m not used to putting stuff on my hair. And I’m in love with how my hair just keep looking wavy.I tried a dupe of the “wonderful airwrap” and for real they are stealing a lot of money for just making you have headaches, THIS is the real thing!

I followed the instructions carefully, and I like that it creates a spiral curl.HOWEVER:1. the roller mechanism inside the ‘cup’ tangles the hair and is difficult to release.2. The timer mechanism in my curler does not work. It’s supposed to release the hair at about 10 seconds (according to the booklet that came with it). It does not. I waited until I was worried about my hair getting scorched to shut it off and turn it back on again in order to reverse the roller mechanism

This curler seems fairly well made, but I've seen sturdier ones. It's very easy to use, take a small section of hair, hold it in front of the curler, push the button according to the direction of the desired curl, and it pulls your hair in automatically to curl it. Works well, creates a long lasting curl.

I can't curl my hair to save my life and this makes it so much easier to do myself and it's super fast.

Despite reading reviews that it doesn't work well with fine hair, I had to try it for myself. It does not work with fine hair, at least not mine. Also, my hair comes to my collar/top of my shoulder, and it was hard to position it correctly. I think it's ideally suited for people with hair below their shoulders, or who have a lot more experience in self-styling (and a lot more patience) than I do. I've returned it.

Seems to be a quality tool. With practice you can really get a great head of curls.
