We use these for my elder dog who does not like the stairs anymore, and used to cry at the bottom of the stairs for us to pick him up and carry him upstairs. SUCCESS, he does use them to go up and down on his own again!! You can see them on a the wood, but not much. I would recommend them.

I ordered these treads because my older dog was having trouble getting up and down the stairs with slippery hard wood flooring. The product was easy to apply, stays securely fixed, and doesn't feel scratchy or sticky on bare feet.The treads do their job well. My elder dog can now use the stairs with ease. However, my young dog who is in the habit of running down the stairs and jumping from the second to bottom is going to have to adjust. He now gets so much traction he launches further than before, and when his front paws touch down he has more momentum causing him to tumble. I think he'll figure it out in time.

we've only had these for a week, but they are AWESOME and i can' believe we waited four years to finally get some. Follow the directions and look at you tube videos before installing them. our wooden stairs are really beautiful so we didn't want to ruin them with adhesive non slip treads, but they are also very, very slippery. we finally decided to do something about the slipperiness and are glad we did. they work and do not take very much away from the look of our stairs. i will update in a few weeks if there is any problem. so far, a week in with a whole other family visiting us and there being heavy traffic all day on the stairs they look good and most importantly, no one has slipped and fallen down the stairs!

Searched around for treads to cover the steps when we moved into our two-level house. I didn't want carpeted ones as that would require constant cleaning .. these are more than perfect for our needs. They made me and my two shelties more secure going up and down and the wood laminate shows through with its pretty grain. Glad I found this product. Thank you Amazon,

Put these on my wood stairs because my lab was having trouble going up the without slipping. These went down easy and no more slips for the pups! Very low profile too and if they had to be removed it would be rather easy with no sticky residue.

Works great, nice long treads that are easy to trim without ruining your scissors like sand would.My wife and I had no trouble with installation.I feel more confident my child won't slip off her stool now.

My initial install ended up with some lifting on several treads. Neater Nest responded immediately to my questions and sent replacement treads. Install issue was resolved when I used a blow dryer to heat up the adhesive. Great customer service!

Honestly these are great and exactly what we hoped for. They blend in with the stairs really well, provide good traction and so far are sticking perfectly. I've only had then installed about a week so we'll see how they hold up but thus far I'm really happy with this purchase.

They fitted easily enough and seem to do the job fine. They have provided extra grip for us and dogs on wooden stairs. We have not slipped since down. Been a month now and they have stayed stuck so far. They are not a permanent solution but hopefully can get a couple of years out of them. They are not clear but neither were the others I looked at so if you want grip be prepared to lose some of the wooden look on your stairs.

They do work as said but I had to peel off to reposition one and all the paint on the wood came of there is no warning of this any were so I was quite disappointed so do be careful were you put them

We bought these to put on our wooden stairs as our elderly Spaniel was struggling to get a grip on the wood. He can now confidently climb the stairs again. Also it has helped elderly parents and am sure will do the same once grandchildren arrive! Instructions are clear. They are easy to apply and have stayed stuck down. A cheap & effective solution to our problem.
