Not so comfy
This is a little uncomfortable but maybe it's supposed to be, I only wear when completely necessary.

works great
A very nice supportive splint. Wide strap at the thumb part and comfortable when on. I will say the ad states freedom of movement which is a bit misleading. Don't get me wrong, it does what is is supposed to and supports and protects, but the thumb is very much restricted. Not the the point of not being able to do anything, but it does limit the thumb considerably. It depends what you are looking for. If you need the thumb to have limited movement then it's perfect. If you need the thumb to have a good range of movement maybe pick something a little less robust.I will say though that once on it's comfortable and does the job. I have arthritis in my wrist and the thumb is in agony whenever I do something. With this on the pain is reduced considerably and my ability to use my hand is restored almost back to normal. I still have pain, but it's very minor compared to without it on.I was tempted to drop the rating to 4 stars due to the lack of choice in colour, I wanted black, got beige. Then I thought dropping the rating for something like that was wrong as the actual function and build was exactly what I wanted and the colour was the least of my worries. The reality is I'd have worn pink with yellow polka dots if it worked, and it certainly does.

Thumb Splint
I have osteoarthritis in the base of my thumb. I ordered the beige one of these first and found that the ability to immobilise my thumb meant I experienced next to no pain. I then ordered it in the grey so I can alternate when one is in the wash. I had a steroid injection into the base of my thumb yesterday and because my thumb was so well supported, I did not have any pain even though the clinician told me to expect pain. I decided to sleep wearing one but I have now ordered a night splint too. Would I recommend this product? Most definitely! This was way better than any of the splints/supports that I have previously purchased.

Works well for me!
I recently injured my thumb; no idea how but it was throbbing and each time I moved it, pain shot up into my wrist. At night I would catch it on the duvet and I would be woken up with a jolt. So, something needed to be done to sort it.This thumb splint has been excellent as it immobilised my thumb, allowing it to heal. It’s a bit bulky but it’s comfortable, it’s adjustable, I can wear it at night, it is left or right handed and fits .....well ....like a glove. It also seems to be breathable as the main parts are made from a mesh material. The splints that support the thumb can be removed I think, for more mobility but, in my case, I haven’t done that. I’m now optimistic that I’m on the mend so that’s got to be worth the money paid.
