Could not describe it as a 'thick gel' more a 'slightly thick liquid'. Flexible tool was far too wide to fit down the plug hole. First delivery - the bottle in the box was totally different to that pictured on the box and I only received one after ordering and paying for two. Second delivery the contents of one bottle had leaked. On both occasions the boxes were damaged. When I finally got what I had ordered it did not work at all!! There is a far better product on the market which has a much thinner tool and is actually a thick gel.

My sink was badly blocked with grease and the water wouldn't drain away, I used this but I left it in for 1 hour because of the badly block and it worked a treat.
