Lovely robust looking harness. Sadly it doesn't fit my jack Russel as she drowns in it. I ordered a small which was massive so be warned.

My Staffordshire Bull Terrier is a rescue dog who wasn't used to going for walks and pulled immensely causing lots of choking and a not very enjoyable walk. I knew I should get a harness to give me better control and him a more relaxed experience. After searching for a few hours I found this and ordered a medium which came the following day. At first Charlie didn't like it and sulked when I first put it on him but after a couple of attempts he relaxed and we had a fantastic walk with zero pulling!! The only downside was he decided to roll in puddles, mud and leaves so now his bright green harness is black!! I purchased a bungee lead to use with this which goes brilliantly together. A super super product for dogs who pull or who are nervous! Just make sure to get the correct size as it must fit properly for it to work.

I bought this over the julius k9 as my growing pup will soon be too big for it and didn't want to spend nearly £30 on something that would only last a few months. I have since seen one of the julius k9 harnesses and yes they are of a higher quality however not sure if they are nearly 3 times as good.Overall I am pretty happy with the harness, it fits well and has plenty of room for adjustment, that being said there are a couple of disappointing aspects, hence the 4 stars. The first and biggest problem is the position of the buckle, it sits right behind the armpit. Although it is made of very smooth plastic I can see that if you were taking your pooch out on a long walk it could start to rub and cause some discomfort. What is really annoying is, if it were shifted up an inch on to the side of the harness it would be out of harms way. Luckily I have a mother who is very handy with the sewing machine and I was able to get her to reposition it a little bit.The second issue, which I can't complain about to much as it was very clear in the pictures, is the large brightly coloured logos on the side. Please do not buy this thinking you can just remove them as they are an integral part of the harness so if you were to remove them you won't have much of a harness at the end of it.For the price I would recommend, however it could be so much better without trying to hard.

I was very sceptical about using a harness, especially when they quote it stops pulling. The first time I tried this on my very enthusiastic cockerpoo, it was like walking a different dog. I am really pleased with it, and the quality and price is excellent. Have just ordered a second one for my terrier which arrived promptly, so I now have two very posh looking and well behaved pooches. Definitely recommend.

UpdateJust ordered another one and has been upgraded with adjustable chest strap. Not liking this. Makes the strap too bulky and not comfy on my dog. My pooch doesnt like a harness but the older one is so easy to put on and comfy. She walks well with it

These Harnesses are strong and thickly padded, excellent value for the money. They look very expensive and have caught a few peoples eye. Most important the dogs love them so they get a 5***** from them for being comfortable. I have bought many harnesses in the past and my boys usually take a Large size!......BE WARNED THESE ARE ON THE LARGE SIZE..... I measured my boys and they actually take a SMALL in this Harness....so remember to measure around the chest to get the right size. Overall...I'm VERY HAPPY...with this purchase.

I wish I'd bought this years ago my dog is 50 plus kilos and a real handful when he want's to go somewhere I don't this keeps the lead centered in the middle of his back and the extra handle aids in control when he wants to drag you towards another dog,I wouldn't be without it now and so easy to remove when we get home

Ordered two harnesses look just like picture and as described They were well packaged and delivered fast with free delivery options I can not give opion on comfort,security features or sturdiness as have not tried them yet. But happy with look,feel and service (they look like they will be comfortable as well padded)1 month later...My fur babies have now tested the harnesses. They fit well and are easy to put on with no issues my small dog (podenco/saffi cross) has the medium harness, my bigger dog (mastiff/sheppard) has got the large harness. They are both beef cakes the large harness has plenty more length for larger girth the medium one has a little less lengthThe dogs have no issues wearing them.
