AIC's last great album. The boys are at their peak here, including Dave Jerden behind the desk. A deserved no.1 for one of the most talented bands of the 90's. Enjoy

This is in my top ten albums of all time along with its predecessor Dirt. Two different sounding albums but both demonstrated what a truly impressive band Alice in Chains were. Powerful songs, magnificent vocals from both Staley and Cantrell, (THE 90s Seattle scene guitar god) and the best bass playing you could ever hope to hear. I'll never tire of this album.

Still one of the most underrated rock bands of the 90's &. beyond . Stripped down tunes but just as powerful as their classic albums . Featuring the vocals of the much missed Layne Staley .

Love this, very mellow for Alice in Chains. We'll worth a listen.

I bought this on vinyl when it was first released and still love it. Just upgrading to CD!

Top album !

Every 5 years or so I make my top albums list. The criteria is that I have to enjoy at least 75% of the songs on the album. Once I get a number (usually around 120 albums), I halve it. Then I halve it again and again until I have my top number 1 album (but I keep all 120 in a playlist!). If you've never tried this, you should. I was amazed which albums rose to the top 10. This was one of them (and one I was surprised at. It being only an EP, I struggled with whether to include it at all, but I just had to and it really is fantastic. Of course, I have a lot of history with this album. I listened to it all through High School and College. Lots of great memories. I ripped the CD into MP3 ages ago at poor quality, and then lent it to a friend who never returned it. So when this went on sale (and is of superior quality) I grabbed it. Highly recommended.
