Do the feet have padding on them or is it just an all plastic bottom?

They have rubber medallion shaped paddings under the legs so that the table is stable and doesn't move around on the surface it's on. Reading your question I just attempted to drag the table around the surface and is met with a surprising amount of resistance to being moved around and made absolutely no noise. Hope this helps! :)

How's the quality of this product? Doesn't seem that sturdy at a glance.

It is actually very sturdy and replaced a more expensive stand that had cracked. I use it for an All-In-One computer which is heavier than a monitor and it is holding up wonderfully. It has ribs underneath and the plastic is fairly thick. Another help is that it is not as wide as the prior monitor shelf, thus it doesn't sag at all. Extremely satisfied with the product.
