This is super fun to use and LOUDGets really hot but so long as you have protection it’s great.Had… I had welding gloves that melted/shrunk due to the intense heat. But I consider that a beginner mistake.

I always wanted to melt gold and I was very excited when I order this.It is easy to assemble and a very neat furnace but the instructions on how to use it are not that clear. So I watched youtube video and realized that it is not really for beginners, you need to learn things before use. It is easy to use once you watch some "how to" videos.

I had bought a different brand, and it did not work well. It took forever to melt light aluminum. With this one melting aluminum is easy and I even melted heavy brass in 10 min.

It is functional but has some issues.It can ignite and heat up, but after about 15 minutes of use, the burner's section of the furnace starts making a strange noise, almost like it's not getting enough air, which causes the flame to sputter intermittently.

"Highly unsatisfactory! kiln are poorly designed and constructed. The stainless steel smelting factory aspect is especially disappointing, with frequent breakdowns and poor heat distribution. The equipment is inefficient, lacks durability, and the customer service is non-existent. Overall, a complete waste of investment and time

Always put cardboard piece under crucible it will help from crucible from sticking.

I have not used it yet, but everything showed up well packed and in proper condition. It's actually better built than I expected, but the one problem is there is no way to adjust your air intake.No worries though, just cut two 2.5 inch lengths of 1 inch copper pipe and they slide right on after removing the nozzle set screws. I'll drill and tap the sleeves so I can put set screws in them too, once I find my damn tap set... 🤔🙄

j'ai acheté ce produit pour fondre de l'aluminium. fonctionne parfaitement. par contre, attention le détendeur est pour une bouteille de propane de 13kg, pas le cube car c'est pas le bon pas de vis.

Great working furnace. 1st thing I did was coat the cotton, you don’t want the fibres loose. Easily melts copper with the dual burners. The 12kg crucible is overkill, lol. You’ll be surprised how much copper that is. Tongs aren’t too bad. I’d recommend getting a better set for lifting and pouring. Also get a large Stainless steal spoon for removing the slag in between adding more copper. I tried using what i had around and either it melted or copper stuck to it. Preheat the new crucible slowly then let it cool completely overnight then it’s ready to use. I poured a few bars the 1st day with the 3kg graphite mould I bought separately. I also bought a smaller 6kg crucible that i think will be more manageable. Happy melting everyone.

Acheté pour fondre de l'alu en moule sable, pour couler du cuivre en lingotières et pour réaliser mes alliages cuivre/aluminium pour couler mes garnitures de coutellerie.Je connais ce four acheté en connaissance de cause pour l'avoir souvent utilisé chez un ami.Pas vraiment prêt à l'emploi dès sa sortie du carton, il faut obligatoirement protéger la laine de céramique soit par badigeon de ciment réfractaire, soit en pulvérisant un durcisseur adapté.Pour faciliter l'allumage, j'ai glissé un tube coulissant sur chaque brûleur qui masquent partiellement les ouïes d'arrivée d'air juste pendant cette phase, ça évite de se griller sourcils et cheveux.La pince de manipulation du creuset livrée est à oublier, surtout en version 12kg, elle se révèle trop dangereuse. Il faudra se bricoler ou se procurer une pince qui serre sur le diamètre du creuset.Il faudra aussi d'autres creusets pour éviter de polluer le métal à fondre par les précédents.Enfin, la fonction forge, four à l'horizontale est un argument de vente, mais absolument pas une utilisation réaliste sans aménager une fermeture du four.J'ai pris ce four car s'il faut acheter séparément chaque composants, mon four maison m'aurait coûté bien plus cher....
