OMG what a frustrating affair. So stupid!
I can't tell you how VERY very frustrating this "smart" socket is. Download the app. Np. BUT, you get FULL SCREEN TAKE OVER BY ADS EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU LOGIN. And, you have to wait for 5 seconds to kill it. And, sometimes,you will get 4 in a row. One times out so you can kill it, then another Fn one pops up, then another, then another. Directions are complete junk. Let's say you actually get to see the screen where you can "control" the device. This is not obvious at all, in fact I can't figure out how to control it at all. There is a running man icon, a location icon, a music note icon and a settings icon. NONE of which have anything to do with turning the stupid thing on. How about a list of devices in a row with a TURN ON switch button. Nope. Connect it to Alexa. Forget about it. You try to pair Alexa with the ad rittled app and it asks for a username and password. For the life of me, I can not figure out how to "Sign up." Nowhere in the app does it say "create an account." I couldn't find anything online. ARRGGGG. Total waste of my time and money. I'd rather try to throw a rock from 2 blocks away to hit the switch then try to use this P.O.S. Do NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. You will regret it.

Read the instructions and find the apps
The media could not be loaded. The instructions don't tell you how to pair with Google home, but if you open the efamily cloud app and select third party, it will tell you to select Smart life to sync with Google. Once I figured that out I was a happy camper. I love this outlet. It's a little big but I put it where I would want a little nightlight. It's easy to connect to WiFi and I haven't had any trouble turning and off the light either in the efamily cloud app or with Google. I would buy more at this price!!

These work successfully with their app as well as with Amazon Alexa. Though at times it does seem to interfere with our Wifi, and we have to switch our phones to the 2.4G network instead of the 5G network to work.

Switch works well and seller stands by product
Stopped working after 8 months. Contacted seller and received a replacement. Seller responded quickly to all emails. New switch was very easy to setup and works great! The app has lots of features to control switch.
