Tried 3 other brands before settling on this one. The other brands were very stiff and did not conform to my older car fenders. This one is flexible and the magnetic function works great.

I use this to protect my fender on my passenger side when backing down a narrow driveway between two houses into the yard. When watching the corners of the car I scraped the passenger fender so bought this to prevent that. So far haven’t scraped it since I’ve been using so don’t know if it will prevent scratches. I did find the magnets are too small and too weak to hold the mat on the fender and have to open the hood and then close it on the mat to hold on place. Hopefully it’s thick enough and/or strong enough to hold up if I scrape against the wall.

These are great covers especially for the money. I wish the magnets were a little stronger but they are well built and the paint side of them is very soft and doesn’t concern me about scratches. Just dont put them on a dirty fender. Great for a hotrodder with a car that stays clean.

Works Great!I like these covers because they have a soft material on the back side that doesn't stick to the paint on your fender the way many others do. The magnets are plenty strong, I had no issues with them slipping when working under the hood of my W250. This one was a good size for the busy side of the vehicle, which is why I chose it, but I picked up a larger one for the other side.

Using this on a steeply sloped fender on an antique car. The magnets are strong enough to hold it to a fully vertical surface -- I'm storing it on the side of the garage fridge right now -- so they have no problem holding on an angle. (A competing product couldn't even hold on the angled part of the fender.)The back side is soft flannel/felt and I have no worries about scratching. I have spilled a little gasoline and a little oil on the vinyl front side already, and both spills wiped off easily.

Very well made. At first glance of the packaging it arrived in, I was wondering if it would be too thin. It's actually just right. The magnets also hold very well. Nice backing material won't scratch the paint, which is very important to me.
