Worked with a little help from Zymol
This is a very good product and it does remove the scratches. It does take some time, so you have to be patient and follow the instructions. The only issue we had, which is probably not an issue for most, is that our product is a solid color... satin black. The sanding took out the scratches, but using the buffing pads (blue and gray) did not get us back to the satin color, it was matte and very obvious. We considered roughing up the whole counter to make it match the matte color on the repair, but as a last ditch effort, I tried exterior car wax/polish to bring up the shine level a notch. (we had Zymol liquid wax on hand) Holy cow... not only did it fix the problem, it made the whole counter look brand new. It made small scratches (not worth sanding) vanish. We thought the effect may not last, but so far it has held up well. So, if you have minor scratches, try car wax. If you have deep scratches, this product works well and does get you back to a smooth surface.

Saved our counter
I had spilled acetone on our Corian countertops, leaving a terrible mark. It was about 6 inches by 4 inches. I followed the instructions, which were clearly outlined and well written. In less than an hour, the counter was in better condition than it had been before the damage. So grateful. Thanks for a great product and for clear instructions!

Does a fairly good job
I used the repair kit to try to restore an area of my Corian counter top that had been damaged. I followed directions, but was not able to restore the high-gloss finish I was hoping for. I even called the customer service number, and was told that I probably would not ever achieve the same look that I had before the damage. The finished area is very smooth and the damage is gone, but the gloss was not restored. I would recommend the product, it did a fairly good job, but do not expect the factory high gloss look.

Really works, even on dark Corian- don't bite off more than you can chew, because it is work.
This really does work. I have a dark green semigloss to matte counter, and was able to buff out scratches. It does take some elbow grease, so don't get all gung ho and start an area too big- because you have to make it look worse before it looks better, and if you get tired half way through it will appear that you screwed yourself. (Well you really will have screwed yourself, at least until you take the time to continue and finish the job.)I has some caulking/glue near the wall I was removing with a putty knife from the mini 4" Corian splash to make way for a tiled backsplash. When it got late, I was rushing to go to bed and scraped up the corian pretty good with the putty knife. Luckily the MicroMesh came in the day after I ordered it, and I was able to remove those scrapes completely before the new tile was put in.We also had an area where we kept the dustbuster on the counter, where my teenage kids would slide it in and out after use, and really scuffed up and marred the finish. I showed them how to use the micromesh and they fixed it right up. Because it did take some of their own elbow grease, the have a better appreciation for how much effort it takes to buff these out- so I think they are not keen to repeat the experience and won't slide the dustbuster anymore.

Took out scratch but left scar
I used the finishing products as instructed. The scratch came out but I was left with an area that is not shiny like the surrounding surface. Used polish as instructed several times. Left a permanent mark.
