Really useful product for zapping bugs and flies though I had to remember to turn it off at dusk as it attracted moths which I don't want to harm. Thanks for a great item.

ASPECTEK Bug Zapper 20W Electric Mosquito Zapper does the job really well, pesky flying bugs don't stand a chance.The UV light feature attracts all sorts of insects, once they get close: zap! They're gone. It's a pretty loud crack! like a mini fireworks show. It's oddly satisfying to hear the flies get zapped.But ... as with fireworks my dog is scared of it! Every time it zaps a fly, he freaks out and runs upstairs as fast as he can which means i can't keep it on as much as i'd like.Overall, I'm really happy with this zapper. It's effective and easy to use,. Just be aware that if you have a furry friend who's easily spooked, they might not be a fan of this zapper!

Does the job in small kitchen

Had a problem with tiny midges in kitchen....this gadget sorted it... Be aware that it snaps and sparks when it zaps an insect... Can make you jump plus it's not a fault... Very effective and solved the problem... Only use it now when needed.. no chemicals you just plug it in..best flying insect solution ever

We have had this on since purchasing which is over a month ago. We live next door to a dairy farm, so as you can imagine get a lot of flies of the door or windows are open. Get them all year round regardless of weather, bought this hoping it would solve the problem, NOPE! it’s killed two flies!! Out of 100s. Still having to swat them which is far more effective. Don’t waste your money on this one, get a proven one like the ones you see in restaurants and takeaways.

Works really well, loud on contact

This is a nice looking Bug Zapper, it has a 4 pin bulb at 18W bulb (not 20W as advertised) that is easily accessible and the cage is metal rather than plastic. All good so far. However, the lead is less that 1.5m, which is too short, really the lead needs to be at least 2.5m – 3m so you can hang it up.This will work well for Gnats and Mosquito, but I it only stuns larger insects and flies. I would have preferred the base to be raised at the sides (2cm – 3cm), so if flies hit it and bounce off, they would be trapped, they don’t just fall out and carry on their merry way. With the current design the flies need to fall through the holes.It works okay and the packaging is good, however, this is really let down by some easily avoidable design flaws. I have given this 3 out of 5 stars as it really is let down by the lead being too short and larger flies bouncing out the bottom. There are better products available for a similar price range.
