East to use
I bought this to label my minidiscs. It takes the 3.5mm size which is perfect for the edge of the disc. At this size there is very little waste also only had to trim a tiny amount when trimming to width of the disc.The finished labels are very clear and durable.Also the keyboard is a lot easier to use for my doddery old eyes.

Best portable printer!
This is a great printer - I bought the case separately and is definately needed tl keel everything in. Very easy to use - have always purchased the brother hand held printer and it takes forever to type out on this - bit this one is really quick - very happy.

An easy to use, reliable labler which won't go out of date.
This is an improvement on an earlier Brother model I owned happily for decades. It provides borders and other enhancements. It's great that the TZ series of cartridges can still be used in it, (and many other Brother models). This means that unlike your computer and software, it won't be out of date in a year or so. Centred around the cartridge type, the mechanism looks the same, although the case and keyboard look very different. My guess is that by now, that the mechanism is tried and tested, rugged and reliable. The instructions said you could clean the print head. I used a cotton bud and meths sparingly, to clean the old one. The result is that the old machine (after decades of use) is now in perfect condition. I'll give it away! There are a couple of things I don't like. The display is a monochrome blue on white colour. It needs plenty of light to be read clearly in the home environment. Also, as with the earlier model, it spews out far too much white tape at the beginning and end of the label. This is wasteful of valuable labelling material.

Labels everywhere now!
This is a great little label printer. I bought it to replace a Dymo one that was attached to my PC but had gone wrong. This unit is much better because it's portable and probably has more design options than the other one did anyway.I mostly use mine to make labels for my Cassette Tapes. Yes, Cassette Tapes.

Great bit of kit.
I'm sorting out my garage as a workshop and storage.The labeller is great. I can for the first time see where everything is. All the drawers and cupboards are being labelled. Brilliant.

Does what it says on the box very powerful little hand held machine. Very Happy.
It is very versatile and reasonably economical. Used it for all sorts of Labels. I would recommend but it depends what you want to use it for.
