4M Cupcake Mould and Paint

My little boy loved making these little sea creatures. Then painting and decorating them. There was enough plaster to make 2 lots of the moulds. The magnet for sticking them to the fridge is really strong. A great product.

Loved it and had fun but for the magnet bit, i couldnt really stick the magnet on. Probably cause i didnt have a flat base but it does work

Excellent entertainment for the kids for the afternoon

Pretty good, moulds are flat sided like chocolate moulds. I thought they’d be full 3D animals. My 8yo loved them thought it was great fun.The plaster sets fast so work quickly. Maybe a bit too fast for a kid who wants to play with it a bit rather than mix it quickly and tip it in the tray.

Pro:This is our 3rd set from this range. Daughter absolutely loves them.Very easy to use, very quick to dry.Paint brush ok quality. If using with young children, handy to have spares so they can have a paint brush for each colour (to avoid inefficient brush cleaning between colours - messy, time consuming & colour bleeding/contamination)It's great that there are 2x packets of plaster. So after enjoying the first set, you can hide it away for a few months, bring it out again and enjoy making & painting all 6x plaster shapes again.They come with magnets and badge clips although we didnt use either.Con:5 paint colours provided. Young children need a lot of help to mix the additional colours required to paint to match the box examples. (We keep poster paints handy for speed, although doesnt give the same glossy finish.)

I bought this for my nephew during the summer holidays, for those rainy days when he kept saying 'I'm bored!' Well this worked a treat! Mixing the plaster was a bit messy but loads of fun. It doesn't take long for the plaster to set, an hour or two maybe. So by the afternoon we painting them. The colours were great, and my nephew who is 5 didn't have difficulty painting the figures even though they are small. He especially liked turning them into fridge magnets, which I have to say you do need to use a stronger craft glue to get the magnets to stick to actual figures, but once that's done the magnets do hold on the figures on the fridge.The badge pins didn't work for us, they didn't stay in place while the plaster was setting, but my nephew wasn't bothered he just made the figures anyway without the pins.All in all great product, and wish there were more sets like this available for boys. Too many of them are aimed at girls.

Although small this is a nice little set for any child that is artistic and likes to paint or decorate, this was brought for a 7 year old and she enjoyed making the pets and decorating them after.
