Inexpensive baitcaster for anyone.
It’s a good reel that doesn’t break the bank. As an avid fisherman, and by no means a pro, it works just fine. Easy to set up and use.

Honest opinion on spark pro
I bought this reel for my finesse setup to throw shakey heads and smaller swimbaits etc. glad I purchased this one. Prob the smoothest reel I’ve thrown yet. Great bearings. You can throw this thing a mile. It’s a smaller profile so fits in the palm great and doesn’t cramp your hand after fishing with a bulky profile reel all day. It has a low profile spoil so you don’t waste so much line which is great. I had 12lb flouro and could cast as far as I wanted and still never ran out of line. This reel with throw 1/8th oz with ease and most likely lighter with ease as well. I love the color. The only thing I will change about the rod is the grips on the handle. I like flat sided grips. Nothing wrong with the rounded grips, just more a comfort/personal preference. But overall, what a great buy. I have 10 Piscifun reels, I have phantom x’s, torrents and now spark pro. Piscifun has never disappointed me. I also have 4-5 Piscifun rods and they are great rods for the price. Both the torrent/serpent series rods are well worth the money.I have been fishing Piscifun reels and rods for the last 3 years and never once had a problem out of any of them. Tournament fishing 3 times a month and multiple days of fishing in between those tourneys, they have never failed me...Piscifun, you killed it with this reel. I’ll be back for more spark pros.

Decent reel for the money
As with most Piscifun reels, it’s a fairly good bang for the buck. It’s not quite as smooth or quiet as other more expensive reels but you didn’t pay $100+ for it either. Time will tell how well it holds up but my other Piscifun reels have aged well.

Decent
Obviously didn’t expect the best quality when I bought a couple of these. Just needed a couple reels to slap on some rods that were given to me and saw these on sale so pulled the trigger on a couple. Pros: They look sweet and palm nicely. Castability is okay. Cons: feels cheap (which it is), and has developed a grinding noise when reeling. Have maybe made ~200 casts with a little finesse spinner bait and in that time the reel has gotten noticeably louder and rougher feeling. Again, I didn’t expect a ton of quality but time will tell how long it will actually hold up. If you’re a fair weather fisherman or someone just starting out bass fishing then don’t be afraid of this reel, it’ll do what you need it to do.

Completely impressed
So I have been a long time user of piscifun spinning reels but have never tried the baitcasting reels until now and I'm impressed. So let's be truthful the reason the spark pro cought your eye is the same reason it cought mine, how similar it looks to a certain Abu Garcia reel. When I purchased this reel I did so with the mind set it was going to be a "just ok" reel at best. I used it the day I received it and have not taken it out of rod rotation, it cast like a dream smooth and far. You are getting so much more bang for your buck with this reel then you do with other more expensive reels. As far as it being as good or better then the Abu Garcia one that looks like it I cannot comment, I do not own the Abu one yet. If your looking for a budget reel that outperforms other higher name brand budget reels this one is for you. I definitely will buy several more!!

Mixed feelings
I saw some really good reviews a while ago for these. When they were on sale for less than $30, I had to pick these up to see how good they really are.Reel feels quite solid and reels smoothly. Not a lot of tolerances and feels pretty solid, but lightweight.I'm really amazed at the magnetic brakes. When set to max, the spool stops almost immediate after you spin it on free spool. I've never had a reel do this in any price range. When I took the side plate, however, I was really disappointed at how cheaply made everything looks. I'm also not a fan of the main gear not being brass. I have a feeling this won't last too long because of that. The spool is also a semi bfs style with somewhat shallow spool, but not as shallow as a true bfs reel. So you're kind of not quite bfs but doesn't have a deep enough spool to line it up with a thicker line. While I think this reel would be good for certain applications, I would have preferred for it to have a better spool to make it really all bfs as the gears being not brass is probably better suited to be that.

Awesome reel!
My wife purchased the reel on my account this is what she had to say about it : Upon receiving my new spark pro baitcaster my first impression was of course the colour, I love the oil colours purple into blue and I have an orange Berkley one piece rod that it looks amazing on. Second impression was the quality in the baitcaster itself how light weight, smooth the reel is and the comfortable grip padding on the handle, as well as how precise my line spooled onto the reel .It’s really easy and smooth to use, I haven’t been lucky enough to catch anything yet but the year is still Young and with my new baitcaster I’m very confident I’ll get a big one. Thank you so much for the incredible gear I look forward to purchasing more from you in the future and letting all of my friends and family know as well. I was also like to add on another note: I love your motto ”fish with family” their is nothing better then fishing with my husband and my twin baby boys who also fish so thank you.

Super nice reel
Had this reel now for a couple of years. Have it rigged up with 30 pound braid for swim jigs. Casts a country miles with a 3/8 ounce swim jig. Doesn't have high spool capacity, so either use it for a skipping reel with heavy line or go to a lighter braid, or light mono/flouro.

Excited to try it out
Was a gift son hasn’t used it fishing yet but has taken it out of box and played with it. So far it’s met his expectations and seems to be well worth the money. He is impressed with the look and feel of it says it’s very smooth and the magnetic braking is awesome

Amazing reel, great feel, top end drag system
Ok this is not a "On the water" review this is more a "Used it for a few hours with various weights casting outside and various checks etc" review. Both baitcasters have pretty much flawless casting/retrieve performance, line comes off spools very smoothly, spool bearings seem to be made for durability and not spool speed so free spinning performance of the spool bare is lower than other reels, but will probably last you far longer in the long run.Drag performance is phenomenal, most drags tend to "Break the weight free" and they will stop/start up again depending on how much you jerk the line, this drag you loosen until the weight free's itself and it will not speed up/slow down/stop/start, drag pulls out incredibly smooth which I never see in sub $600 reelsHandle feels nice, spins freely, very light weight and doesn't flex at all under load. Cradles very well in your palm. Now to the downside, this reel makes noise in two ways and only one is correctable. First off jerk line driving will cause bearing whine which is to be expected when they're load bearings and not speed bearings, but it can catch some people off guard if they try to jerk with the reel instead of the rod.The second downside is both my reels felt "Raw" and made slight buzz noise until I opened them up and had to apply grease liberally to the main gear, the amount of grease that was applied to them was minimal at best, but after greasing all gears worm gear and a drop of oil in every bearing the feeling improved phenomenally.Easily feels like a $400+ reel at that point, to which I hope Piscifun makes it a point of contention to apply grease to the gears in several points, as when I opened it up it looked like the grease was only applied in one blob on every gear vs several gear application points, which explains why it felt so raw at the start. If you don't know how to do regular reel maintenance this is a 4 star reel and I wonder about long term reliability, but if properly greased up/oiled this is easily a 5 star reel.

Gears broke on first go
The reel seemed to be working like a treat first couple of casts and then the gears stopped working when under any kind of tension. Even holding slightly with your hand. Checked line but wasn’t slipping, awaiting a return.
