Very happy with this lighting kit so far. Perfect for a stair case that you can get rear access to or new construction. Finished stair ways would be close to impossible to install. They pretty much thought of everything w this unit so I was very impressed.

The product works well, and the seller is very responsive and accommodating to a question that I had. I am very happy with the purchase!

The media could not be loaded. A pain to install, but wow! I love ‘em, and everyone in the house loves showing them to every visitor we have! They are cool, they are bright and they are very useful! I was having trouble confirming that the blue power wire was neutral and the black was hot and of course green being ground. My instructions got lost between two of the LED bags, but I did find them and I was able to verify I was wiring it correctly! The manual also came in very handy at the end to teach you the available options!It’s a mess to install! I drilled a hole through the top left of each step to push the wires through. The top step itself was a fail and I had to drill towards the bottom and run some of the wire up. I will seek the cable managing options later when I have time. My biggest complaint is the SIZE of 20mm they used for their motion sensors. I had the bit one size smaller and one size larger, but not the 20mm; which converts to .79 inches or 25/32. Same with the 7mm for pushing the wire and plug through the steps. That one was alright going the larger size because you can hide them when you’re finished. A rubber ring around the motion sensor would have been nice for an easier and snug fit. It comes with labels for placing on the wires, but I fished them one by one and then plugged them in sequence so I did not need the labels. The wires are a mess under my stairs and I cleaned them up best I could with the included zip ties, but I wasn’t going to squeeze past my hot water heater to get back in the back area. All said and done, it’s easy to use, figure out and get going the way you want.While I will agree this will work best on a new construction so you can plan and install without issues. Stairs with access to the back and underneath, will work as well, but may not be as easy. You really don’t need to rule out enclosed stairs. You can still install these on them AND it would probably be a whole lot easier! Just need to plan on using cable/wire concealing tracks and accessories. Low voltage cable passthrough if you need to run the wires through the wall somewhere nearby? Deciding where your power will come from and where you’ll place the power and controller box will be the difficult decision.

This set of stair lights adds a pretty cool effect to stairs if you like a high-tech look. The color temperature is very white, a little out of place in most homes, unless you already have a high-tech vibe going on. Works very well for a small office space with stairs. The computer board is pretty advanced, but programming is simply. The installation instructions are not the step-by-step kind, but rather actual photos showing what it looks like after installation - it's not hard to figure out the rest. But, if you are unable to run wires inside of an existing wall, installation may be quite the headache if you want a professional appearance with no wires showing.

This is a review for KOMIGAN Intelligent Motion Sensor LED Stair Lighting Kit KMG-3233, 60 Inch (150 cm) Long Cuttable LED Strip Light for Indoor LED Stair Lights LED Step Lights (20 Stairs, Cool White 6000K).This set of lights, I believe, is a must have for anyone that has stairs and risk the possibility of your foot finding one of those razor-sharp plastic blocks that just seem to follow you in the darkness and become even more sharp as they sit in wait for you to raise your foot so it can slip in there.I can say they seem to be well made but they could use a few additional dimming levels. I have some eye problems, but I was informed that they are a bit brighter than most might care for. Installation will require access to your homes wiring to power them but that’s to be expected. Other than that, the installation when relatively easy and I had them up and operational in only a few hours. I was fortunate though to have an unfinished closet below it though.

I ordered these lights to install on my master staircase which my 88-year-old father and I use. Having the additional lighting, helps to make my steps more visible for both of us. I love the motion detection since my dad will at times not think to turn the overhead lights on. I really feel their addition has made any nightly trips dad makes much safer.

If you want the runway lighting affect this is for you. It's a great looking setup but takes time to install everything. If you have regular steps this would be a pain if you're wanting to hide wires and need access to the underneath. They have several brightness levels and light options with motion detection.

Overall, I could not be happier with these lights.I installed them on a new install staircase that is open.Installation was not difficult, but I can see where a staircase with limited access could be a challenge.The motion detector works great, and it is cool when they light up automatically.These lights would be a great addition to any staircase.I would Buy Again.5 STARS
